Giroud will hammer pound their defence into the ground in his current form.

Apparently arteta, wilshere and debuchy are close to a return. Will be a few selection headaches for wenger and a good bit of strength in depth

Twisted knee. Not sure how long.

Now Ramsey looks like he has a groin problem. Typical.

I know its so frustrating! Ramsey doesnt look too bad but guaranteed that hell be out for ages. Its been his best game for Wales in ages so i hope hes not injured or loses form...

Sturridge to "play through the pain". I am guessing this be genius code words for "wasn't injured in the first place". Losing Ramsey will be a blow if true though. Admittedly they'll be without Gerrard and Skrtel...probably Sterling too.

Sturridge was never injured. they just didn't want to take a risk with him after the previous injury with england. Sterling isn't as well. Hodgson bowing to club pressure. Gerrard wasn't going to play anyway, perhaps coming on from the bench. The significant loss for them would have been Skrtel. They'll miss his holding and wrestling potential at corners.

Plus Skittle always scores against us. So one less headache at corners. It will be a tough game I think. A draw seems likely.

According to his press conference, as expected, Wilshere, Arteta, Debuchy and Diaby(!!!) aren't yet ready for the 1st team, and neither is Oxo, but Welbeck could play a part.

As a result I'd expect little surprise with the line up and would go for this

    Ospina
    Bellerin
    Merts
    Kos
    Monreal
    Coq
    Ramsey
    Ozil
    Santi
    Sanchez
    Giroud

With Szczesny, Gabriel, Chambers, Gibbs/Flamini, Walcott, Welbeck, Rosicky on the bench.

We could do the mancs a favour by beating Liverpool. All but assures top 4 for them and us as well.

The Mancs after they play Villa, play City, Chelsea, Everton, with Chelsea-Everton away, so they won't be out of the woods yet in terms of Liverpool being able to catch them.

For us on the other hand, if we beat Liverpool, then I think that's it in terms of them catching us, and we are 50% guaranteed a top 4 spot.

We really need to be winning tomorrow, it's a massive game, because as I said, a victory knocks one top 4 rival out of catching us.
