Winners and losers as always, happy with the reduction to £340 for me but a bit miffed with the £70 increase (£50 up to £120)for my 13 year old son = net £10 increase on last season + £16 admin fee for interest free option. Have just checked with the box office and the "family ticket"£380 (1 adult and 1 X 10-17 year old) only applies in the family area (block 1) though I can't see this stated anywhere on the renewal leaflet.
I would have renewed whatever the price (within reason) but it is not as as sweet as it might seem! COYG

More or less along the lines of what you are saying Lyndhurst. Forgetting the 5% Foundation members rebate which still applies, those paying £360 last year would have paid £324 with the New World 10% discount - it's now £340 to watch a lower league. So this is in fact a rise. If paid premium seating of £399 last year and got my under-10 grandson chucked in (not literally) for free. This year it's £340 + £120 = £460. Again this is in fact a rise in prices.
I'm afraid Mr. Ridsdale hasn't got his sums right - haven't I heard that somewhere before about the Argyle board?

Under 10's are free Joe with an adult but I think it's got to be in the Family Stand which is Block 1 of the Demport. It used to be anywhere so if I want to get my Grandson in for free I've got to move from block 10 of the Lyndhurst. Just thought though there's some of those whingers I certainly wont miss! I'm sure one of them is DS but he says he hasn't been for a while.

I got my notification this morning and was a little surprised at the amount. It isn't that I am not going to buy a season ticket but I would have thought the pricing would have been less. Your baby is only zero in the family enclosure joe. Anywhere else and it is £120. I don't think they have got their prices right. I know they need money and are starting the re-rise of the club from nothing but this is not in my opinion the way to do it. I think that the maximum should have been around £300. I do not think they are going to attract people through the turnstyles like this. When they realise it isn't the right price and start reducing them for casual visitors the season ticket will start to look even less like a bargain than it does now.

I used to do that when we all stood up but it is less easy now when I go with mates. I don't miss many games so it is still worth the season ticket for me and I don't have to pratt around on matchday. It's too late now to change their pricing so I guess we are stuck with it. I did read the pamphlet slow time this evening and it said they had consulted. I have been involved with consultations previously when at work and I know how loosely that phrase is used very often. I still think they have missed a trick and it will cost them bums on seats they might have had. When Argyle travel away the clubs will love Argyle visiting but I doubt we will have many coming the other way so it is the home support that was paramount.

Exactly right Sensible, if i was to buy a season ticket would not want to go in The family end. So it will cost a lot for any other part of the ground. But it has not been priced to encourage more people to but a season ticket. It may be a bit difficult for me this season with the little one poorly, but will go as oftn as i can

At the risk of offending block 15 - 18 (18 in particular), they're referred to as Nedanderhal man in the posh bit of the Lyndhurst!

I like block 15 too, it's not that I mind going elsewhere it's just the thought of having a section of the ground closed off, what with that and the lower part of the mayflower it will be like a bloody graveyard.

What with part of the ground being closed off and the expensive season tickets it's not exactly encouraging the stay away's is it?

Sorry if my comments offended any of you blocker fifteeners. Block 18 is normally empty for segregation anyway but the original intention of my post was aimed at those who sit/stand in block 16/17 with the sole intention of baiting the opposing fans rather than watching the football. It's never been a mentality I've understood nor like to see from my fellow Argyle supporters. As for the posh end, I'm sure you'll realise that's just tongue in cheek, you've just got to have a look at the Motley crew assembled there.

They will not have to many away supporters to bait this season, we will not get large numbers this season in the away end unfortunately. So we need as much home support as possible to fill the seats.

What sort of attendances do you all think we will be getting, 5000? or less.
