You confuse and lose track of brand and identity.

Airco is one of the club's moral dilemmas and a good moral compass is needed to navigate them; they don't have a good moral compass.

The interview had a few (repeated) searching questions in a **** lode of Allam nonsense.

If you are still searching for ways to excuse the senior management then your fence must be exceptionally high.

Or their propensity to seek out entertainment, rather than cult worship?

So far so good (except for the emboldened line), then you move into waffle that has **** all to do with the point you are failing to make.

The tardiness (deliberate or negligent) of the Allams, in addressing this well stated need for category enhancement, is just another sign that they are extremely inept or extremely malignant and care nought for the community. Considering he, you and his other disciples have always lauded his business acumen, it leaves little room to wriggle.

But has he said that publicly before?
( assuming he said it on the record to Burnsy...but as he deleted his other tweet and left that one up I assume he did)
In all the vague threats and nonsense I genuinely can't remember

He hasn't, he's obviously been claiming that it's about revenue, maybe he's finally realised that barely anyone believes him.

The fact that the large crowds coincided with Mauger and success was coincidental then? It was purely their desire for entertainment. Which makes you wonder why they all disappeared and speedway went to the wall.

There was that one time where he said "the fans have themselves to blame" regardimg not challenging the council. Think it was on ITV.

I still find it astonishing that no journalist asked him why he felt the need to clarify he was selling the club and not the council that time.

I don't believe him when he says there are two potential buyers.

I don't think there are any.

And even if there were, they'd be preferable to him.

I don't believe they're really open to selling, haven't been at any point and won't be until this is finally sorted and they have bo option but to accept it. Thankfully that time looks like being pretty soon now.

Perhaps they (many of them) gradually stopped being entertained by it and the sport could no longer support itself in Hull.

So they gradually stopped being entertained as results declined? And hopped of the bandwagon.

Yeah, I think that is what happens when a sport (or a fad) fails to sustain a certain level and all but the truly committed find something else to do with their time and money; folk are fickle, after all. When did Ice Hockey hit the scene, was that a factor, who knows?

Think thats true in all sports, there will always be a hardcore who will go to watch whatever the result/performance, if the team starts to win more people go to watch and when the team stop winning people will walk away. A fact of life.
