I dont consider that a flaw at all in a manager. And anyone who wants a successful manager wouldnt either. As the saying goes -"show me a good loser...and I'll show you a loser"

 

Yes, it probably has its advantages for a manager, because he has to constantly motivate his players. For a gobby fan on an internet forum, however, it just comes across as immature and petulant.

Fergie often accepted a loss to lower division teams with grace and praised the oposition. He never did this with premier league teams because he did not want to give them confidence, instead he centered on our bad play rather than their good.

 

Couldn't agree more. The whining and blaming on this board since Sunday's match has been relentless.

 

I haven't really followed every thread but from what I have seen most have just taken it on the chin and admitted Utd were the better team.

 

Whilst making comical, nonsensical accusations against Rooney and Jones. It can never just be a fair result, there always has to be an element of being the wounded party.

You've contradicted yourself there, feller. The vast majority have accepted it was a fair result, but you say they haven't because they're making 'nonsensical' accusations against Rooney and Jones? As someone who has stated the Rooney got away with one after laying a snide a kick on Mignolet right in clear view of the ref (but has also said it had no bearing whatsoever on United's deserved victory) I can only assume that you suspect that as you won we're only allowed to talk about the Skrtel and Gerrard incidents, but nothing regarding your own team. We're not the 'wounded' party, but you're not paragons of ****ing virtue either.

The FA have a 99.9% conviction rate. I think we can safely assume what it will be - and in all fairness, should be.
