Well we could be doing the same with BBC soon. One of their ideas to reduce the license fee is to have PPV programmes. So say we pay £40 a year license fee, Doctor Who (as a example) would be around £20 for a season. It is not only Sky that do PPV atm anyways it is everywhere. It's not even just TV doing it these days.
I've been using it and I've rated it way down on the previous version. Both mobile and desktop are worse than previous. In order to be able to customise the access you get they've turned it into an untidy mess.
I've heard of that theory before, but I thought it was a myth or one of those things you hear that turn out to have little truth in. I'd never thought how similar me and my ex looked, it's kinda uncanny, I could be looking at my ex (but with different coloured hair)..... but not surprising perhaps It's quite good actually, I like it. Definitely can see that it' may have more commercial appeal
It's still not properly public - we're just waiting on the guys who are meant to be premiering it. Frustrating!

That's Top Gear down the ****ter. Assuming this is true I'm not watching it anymore. Sky - please sign Clarkson, Hammond and May up.
I don't watch Top Gear on a regular basis, and nor do I particularly like Jeremy Clarkson as a person, but from what I do see of it, he does seem like the entire programme. No Clarkson, seems like no Top Gear for many. I think Sky will sign him up.
I'm not saying what Clarkson did was right, but surely him and the producer he allegedly punched could have settled this over a handshake and a pint and moved on. The BBC have just shot themselves in the foot and if they start charging for individual shows they can **** right off.
