This line always makes me laugh.

"Without AA there would be no Hull City AFC"

I think ****tards fail to realise that if he gets his way

"There will be no Hull City AFC because of AA"

But just think, you and your gobshite minority wouldn't have anything to whine about day after day on here if it wasn't for him saving the club in the first place.

At least the Man U fans unhappy with their owner did the sensible thing.

Not only were we always the majority, but that majority is growing every time one of the Allam's opens his gob.

To be fair - and I never thought I'd say this - he has a point about the Man Utd fans. Is there any other industry in the world where customers supposedly hate the proprietor yet still buy the product and line their pockets every week? And never mind industry, is there any other football club in the world where fans who hate the owner still sell the stadium out and buy all the products?

You can type angry messages on here all week long but he just doesnt care. Still, those opposition players are shiny.....

No one cares really its the internet. Its built to a crescendo on here but whats happened really. ctid was quiet on sunday when i thought it would be really loud. No protests. Without the internet would people have got off their arse and done something, maybe?
A lot who post on here dont go to games or arent season pass holders.
The protest marches didnt work, few attended.
    Poor uptake of ctwd membership.
Not sure how the trust is doing membership wise.

Well people hate energy companies, insurance firms, etc. But we need their products so we all just put up with them and pay their extortionate prices. Kinda similar with football, it takes something big to turn people away.

There was a few thousand last summer who walked away, but depending on the next couple of months it could be a lot more or none at all this time around. If he says he's applying again for 2016/17 or finding some other way to keep dragging it further and further on into next season then plenty will walk away.

Assem Allam can go tomorrow as far as i am concerened...

But i will not call him insulting names and he has still done some great things for charitys.

He may be hated on here but they love him at the Queens Centre at Castle Hill were he has done plenty of good things.

I wish he would drop the dumb name change

I wont go if the fa allow it.

Lets hope he drops the idea...or leaves

No one would choose the name HULL TIGERS instead of HULL CITY .

Not even happy if asked a straight question.

Absolutely nothing as far as I'm aware but I thought the point I was trying to make was pretty obvious. But as you missed it......

    You said:

My point was all of this couldve applied to Savile: "Oh he did some terrible things but as long as he does good for charity..."
He raised an estimated £40m for charity, why do you think he was knighted? It doesnt stop him from being a vile human being.

BCC is correct, but I have a feeling a certain few will ignore it and just abuse him for comparing the two...

I would also say one could possibly suspect that both did so much good for charity in a calculated manner to give them precisely this get-out when doing subsequent unsavoury things.

I am not, i repeat not, equating what Savile did with Allam's name change campaign and treatment of local sports clubs using the Airco Arena.

I didnt see anyone do that at all.

I do wonder if some people actually read posts on here or see certain key words and jump to enormous conclusions.

Guilty as charged, please see edited post!
IMO using Saville as a comparison is on a par with Godwins Law.

How? Both gave loads of money to charity but did not very nice things as well.

The seriousness of the 'not very nice' thing is irrelevant.
