I had my suspicions that Tony was a member of this forum at one stage. The said member was very active leading up to the playoff final and posted some what I would call inside info about something on seats at Wembley, this turned out to be the flags. The member is no longer active but joined at the same time Fernandes bought our club. I love a good conspiracy theory!
Good point Oslo, so the the correct answer to the question is we only have to wait until 4pm this coming Sunday I guess...
No.We are going to win Sunday. And in any case there are lots of games left before we will have any reason to ponder any return Ticket.
Mate, my post just like about 90% of all my other posts was not meant to be taken seriously, chill out brother!
Repeat after me...... We're going to win on Sunday...........We're going to win on Sunday....... UR's
We are staying up But the question is how are some going to cope next year? Maybe we shouldn't worry until the club is being run properly
I only voted this morning, for going down and back up in 3-5 years. I completely agree with the above, let's go down and aim to return when ready, not just as soon as possible. After yesterday, are the optimists still optimistic, or has yesterday destroyed all hope?
Was resigned to going down before yesterday's game, will take a total rebuild will prob lose our better players, Austin, fer, loans will go back and oap will go. Unless we buy some good hungry players can see us being in the championship a long time.
I see the four who voted that we'll go lower than the championship are enjoying their self made doom and gloom. Or have a dark sense of humour.
The fact are simple really - we are as good as down and it will be 5-8 years before we are back again...... The Mitals are on the board and could easliy (without hurting their billions) bank roll the club - attract top players and have a new stadium in place very quickly............ But this hasn't happened - Tango and Cash didn't spend and looked as us for a "quick buck" I fear you are right as TF will cut and run............ FFP - Could be the last straw for him and you can't blame him for trying to "fight the fight" single handed with no other cash injection............... Some will say dark days ahead for us, but realistically we will sit in an average league in a mid table position............ Personally I will be glad of this as I'm fed up of too many "false dawns" We are all QPR and will support them through thick and thin.......... We just need to realise its always going to be more thin - than thick..............
I am one of the four and can tell you I am hating how I perceive our future and hating almost every minute of this season because it appears we have not learn't anything over the past 3/4 years. Also I wish I could see the humorous side but to be honest I couldn't even watch the last 3 games as I am too tired of getting all worked up every week only to see us fail yet again, it's soul destroying! I know its the same for everyone but I have decided to start enjoying my weekends by not even thinking about football and it is working to a degree. Many points have been covered but for the record I have thought this way since the Swansea game and when you look in the Chamionship it looks scary so many decent teams with the vast majority improving with a game plan and squads that have been together playing in a certain way with the exception of the 3 that will be relegated. Then look at league one promotion candidates Bristol City look a good side and any two of the top five are looking decent. Add to that Leicester, Burnley and/or Sunderland therefore the Chamionship, in my opinion, will be even harder place to be. After we sell our best players and release the end of contract players our squad will be very thin and so a complete re-build will have to start and we will not be allowed to throw money at this problem we can not rely on our kids as they really have zero experience and don't look good enough. Fulham are good example of a team relying on kids and these were/are tipped of stars of the future, are ours? I also see the devide between the Premiership growing even further with the sort of money involved and I also see that BIG money disappearing in the not too distant future as it's not sustainable, trouble is we are not going to be around to reap the rewards. How long will the present owners stay? How long will it take a new owner? What type of player can we honestly attract? So many questions.... In my opinion if we do as well as Fulham have done this year, looks like they will just about avoid relegation, I will be happy. That is how I see our future for at least next year but I am not holding my breath.
Well, I'm actually a big critic of TF. I think he's a baffoon. He may have good intentions but he has done more damage to this club than good, with his decisions. But we are kind of held to ransom because I don't think anyone wants to come in and buy us. With that said, I can't be sure that the other co-owners haven't also been responsible for this mess (Mittal/Bhatia and Ruben, etc.). So it may not be completely TF's fault. But he is the one most responsible. But I'm still not as worried as you. Every year it is said that the Championship will be stronger. But we will inevitably have more quality in playing staff than most teams and more funds to get better players and staff (including a manager). But I'm also not worried because I only want to see a team to be proud of and I think our recruitment possibility has been changed for the better. I think we have learned lessons but far too slowly. But they will come to fruition eventually.
