Yeah bringing my brother in law over who I've converted into a Sunderland fan my kid and a few mates are all sitting together! Yeah he just had a little girl, hopefully bump into you before or after the match for a pint
Watmore is a wild card who is raw with pace to burn...I just think that many of our fans want to see him getting on the pitch every now and then to offer the team something different..
It's all well and good for you to say that, mate, after watching the same team year after year. But you can hardly expect Advocaat (or any other manager) to come in here on Monday and make the same immediate changes as you would by Saturday. Give the man a chance, for gawd's sake.
I can understand where the OP is coming from to an extent. It feels a little bit like Watmore is expected, from some quarters, to light the league up straight away when realistically we have no idea how he will get on. I'd like to see Watmore given a go, though I don't know a great deal about him. I think the OP is just trying to be cautious and say... Hang about. He may not be the saviour we all hope he will.
I agree................it's like we're saying "look Dunc I know you've only played a few games in the mickey mouse Scottish division, but if you could just come on and save us from relegation we'd be grateful"...............it ain't gonna happen. What is needed is for a few of the others to come to the party. For example I thought rodwell was somewhere between ineffective and totally anonymous yesterday. what a waste of 10 million that was.
The problem we have to look at Danny v my granny who should we bring on its a sad fact but most would want my granny to come on.
Oh dear I've never even mentioned Advocaat 'for gawd's sake'. I'm not on his back in the slightest. You've clearly implied some sentiment on my behalf because I haven't questioned Dick once, I'm not hurrying him, i'm not frustrated with him. I don't know what planet you're on.
I think Gomez has been one of the worst and overused signings we've made for a while. That takes his price tag into consideration.
I think his energy will lift the whole team yes, will he light up the league straight away? I wouldn't have thought so, he's capable but he's still very raw, but has a lot more to offer than some of rot on the pitch who need a kick up the arse.
I agree mate. I'd be putting you on in place of half of them at this point. Just think I understand where the guy's coming from.
Oh dear, you f**king self asshole. You haven't mentioned Advopcaat "for gawd's sake" - but you want your Watmore in the team immediately?. - well, the guy's only been here six days, so would you mind please telling us all what planet that logic comes from? Listen, you jumped-up little sh*t, I'm on the planet that says we're eight games and one point from relegation, and we can't afford our recently appointed manager to take stupid fire-cracker risks that you're advocating - and I'm hardly alone. I see sensible posters on here like Blunham and Smithy (amongst many others) who are constantly abused by sh*ts like you and Snug in Butts (or whatever the smart-a**ed little attention seeker is called) and I think there is a small, hard-core of handicaps to the entire not-606 board here at Sunderland that seriously require Minxy's attention. I honestly believe that this whole board would be better off without posters like you. That's what fu**ing planet I'm from, mister.
I wanted him to start before Dick was even hired. My opinion has nowt to do with DIck. What a ****ing idiot
