I wouldn't blame you for taking the piss to be honest, we brought on a sub and he was sent off within 41 seconds. And most of our fans dismissed Man Utd before the game and even before the red card they dominated the game and outplayed us all over the pitch. We've been on a 13 match unbeaten run as well in the league, we were bound to lose 1, its not the end of the world so I don't understand the overreaction and crying we are seeing. I'm obviously pissed off with losing to Man Utd but its only 1 game, plenty to go! As for QPR, you'll definitely 100% never lose to them Interesting to see how you do after a long and tough European trip though.
Gerrard was an embarrassment. 35 years old and getting sent off after 40 seconds. Embarrassing. Some people on here are embarrassing too, liverpool fans included. Skrtel will face a three match ban and anyone calling for Rodgers to be sacked shouldn't bother posting. Lallana isn't good enough unfortunately. Sturridge struggles playing on his own and Sterling needs to just announce he's leaving so we can drop him for good, his form has been terrible.
Way too much over reacting on here, i am gutted, whats worse is my boss is a united fan and i have work in an hour But to say Rodgers out, ott I still not sure what I think of him, but i know I do not want him out, lets see where we are in two months - it was only December we wer out of the race for top four. We have winnable games after Arsenal one, if Chelsea have sewn title up they might give us the points
Right, looking at our team - Sterling is wasted out wide. He's far better on the left or central. Sturridge looks a bit sharper but he's so isolated. Needs a partner. The only player who played at the required level was Sakho. Thought he was brilliant again.
Everyone on here expects us to win 3-0 plus every match otherwise were terrible. Calling for 3-4-3 to stop yet we've been unbeaten since playing that way. Just incredible really.
Not seen it again but Skrtel's did not look like a deliberate stamp to me it was more a follow through from his run to me but i not seen the replays so will reserve judgement.
Luckily for Lallana, I rate Gerrard even less. Lallana offers nothing - Play sterling higher up and get markovic back in RWB. Even if he cost £10m, he hasn't justified his price tag. I actually would sell him for £18m and get someone else in who can actually contribute.
He knew what he was doing. The bloke wrestles a player every game, no one can tell me he accidentally did that.
There is always a massive over reaction nowadays. Brod was a tactical genius last week but this week he's useless and back to #luckedout
Agreed.. in all of thise it's been forgotten his man scored both the goals and he was responsible for both by being out of position and not getting back quick enough. He's an average defender and not even brilliant going forward, can't beat a man and apart from 1 run which lead to the goal against Spurs he's offered very little.
Gerrard can apologise all he likes, but for a player of his experience never mind the captain to come on and go off after 42 seconds is absolutely pathetic. Unlike the slip, he's got nothing to even blame it on other than stupidity. We played much better in the second half with only 10 men - imagine if we'd had 11. We could have taken something from that game, but Stevie made certain that we wouldn't. I wouldn't be disappointed if the all star charity game was the last time I see him in a Liverpool shirt tbh. His value to the team has long expired if he can't even stay on a pitch without losing his head in under a minute.
for all the **** I've been giving my Utd mates this season I've got to say they played a real good, fast passing game in the first half and we couldn't get anywhere near them. I'm not sure if we improved in the second half with 10 men or Utd took their foot off the gas.
At the end of the day we had our second big game of the season, a top 4 decider, and we failed miserably. The first was our shower of **** against Basel, where we also had a man sent off. I would say it's because we have too much youth, but when it's your ****ing captain with over 20 years of experience, it's just unacceptable.
Bit harsh to reject Gerrards apology. He's human and made a (albeit, big) mistake. Is a sad life if you can't say fair play for standing up live on TV in front of millions and admit to ****ing up. The man will always be a legend at Liverpool, a little bit of respect wouldn't go amiss once in a while. It's not his fault managers haven't managed him better.
It won't stop the so called pundits keep saying he's one of our best players and a real leader in the middle.
Disagree. Somethings like a poor challenge which concede a penalty, or missing a sitter open goal, or whatever else is fine. I'll accept those all day because **** happens and people learn from them. But a stamp. 42s into the half. From the 35 year old experienced captain who came on to calm down the team. Bit different that... =
