Possibly but I don't think we know how to play for a draw... although our defending stats have been good we're not alike a Chelsea where we can sit back and frustrate a team and get a draw at ease when needed.. if it's a draw I can see it being a score draw.

Bound to be a few tasty tackles as well

Bloody Hell, Igor. It's only Utd, why accept a draw before a ball is kicked? That's an underdog stance, and one we should never take.

All I'm saying is, I believe it's a must not lose game more than a must win and because of that, a draw wouldn't be a terrible result

    Don't agree.
A draw leaves us still 2 points ahead of Spurs & Saints and 2 behind United.

I know what you mean and I'm just having a bit of a dig.
However, I do think an attitude has developed amongst many of our fans, born of many years in Utd's wake, that we don't expect to win and that a draw is a decent result. In some circumstances it might do, but at this stage of this season, this is our big opportunity to go above them and take the initiative from them. It's what we should be aiming for, without compromise, imo.

We're at home, this shower we are playing haven't put in a shift all season. If we let crab man dominate midfield, we sack our midfield ffs.

I demand 3 points from this game, did I mention we embarrassed ourselves at OT, the players owe us one.

Absolutely and the players should be thinking this is a game we have to win and going out there to win it...

It's not that I don't expect us to win, more that a draw probably isn't the worst result for both sides (much like when all the top teams play each other) so can see it being a likely result.

However, I'd love us to go out and smash them 3-0 with Gerrard netting one and running up and kissing the camera <smooch>

We should easily beat the mancs at home. When did they ever play well away? This really should be 3 points in the bag but they've been very lucky in most of their away matches. That is why I am a bit anxious like most of us here.

Louis van Gaal snubbed Liverpool job
LOUIS VAN GAAL has revealed he could have been in charge of Liverpool and not Manchester United in today’s big battle at Anfield.
By Paul Hetherington / Published 21st March 2015
LOUIS VAN GAAL has revealed he could have been in charge of Liverpool and not Manchester United in today’s big battle at Anfield.
Van Gaal held talks with Liverpool three years ago before Brendan Rodgers Kopped the Anfield job. But the Dutchman could not reach agreement with Liveroool and instead returned to a previous role in charge of Holland, after leaving Bayern Munich the previous year.
The United boss faces Liverpool today insisting: “Yes, I spoke to Liverpool but that is not so interesting anymore.
“Last week I was asked the same about Tottenham. I have spoken to a lot of clubs. It’s not so interesting – it’s in the past.
“It’s not good for Liverpool, Tottenham or me to re-open things that are in the past.
“Yes, it was very pleasing. I could have worked every year but I take sabbaticals to please my wife, my kids and my grandchildren.
“But I was always in the circumstances to manage a club – I’m a lucky guy.”

MAN UTD MAN: Louis van Gaal held talks with Liverpool in the past [GETTY]
    “”
When asked if he had regrets about not going to Liverpool, LVG said: “I’m not going to answer that because it’s in the past and we are now in the present.
"I am the manager of Manchester United – the No. 1 club in England but Liverpool also has a very good record in its history.
“But I’m the coach of United – I can only speak about Liverpool as an opponent but not as a club of mine.”
It is understood that Van Gaal could not agree on his precise role with Liverpool, who saw him as a Director of Football in charge of a coaching team.
Van Gaal, 63, confirmed United will be his last job – but insists he does not know how long he will be in the role.
He said: “I can confirm it will be my last job but there could be five years to go yet.
“I can extend my contract – you never know.
“I’m in a situation where I signed for three years, because you can build something up in that time and the club agreed with that.
“I don’t know how I would react in the circumstances if Manchester United asked me to extend and if I should do that.”

Both love and hate these massive games. Hope our lads give it everything, a win would be huge. But something is telling me they're gonna nick it. Disagree about taking a draw by the way, home team and we're behind them, in better form.. would never take a draw before hand.

Looking forward to this. Bit nervous obviously. Mainly that Gerrard might start. Will be a good game.
