Aye, I expect to see him tomorrow, he's not progressing playing against a standard that's above. The lad is ready. He'll turn fullbacks inside out, they won't know whats hit him. Can't wait, he'll bring us the McClean effect in abundance has he's already way better than him.
i do hope you are right about the lad but to say hes already way better than JM , on what basis is this founded on ,he has not been picked /played /started yet . ...fingers crossed all the same we need a spark thats for sure
Duncan's father is Ian Watmore, not Neil Whatmore the former Bolton striker....................just sayin
Parts of his game that McClean lacked, like McClean, he's great at beating his man over twenty yards flat out, but unlike McClean the lad has got the touch and dribbling skills to beat multiple men in an enclosed area AJ-esque, he's not as one footed as McClean, he's much more comfortable coming inside, he can beat men on the inside and outside, he's got an eye for a tackle too. He's got more dimensions to his game than James McClean basically. But if you mention the spark, remember, our slow boring footy under MoN was ignited by JMc, despite him being limited, his direct game and pace helped give the rest of the squad the kick up the arse it needed. So putting all Watmore's skills aside, it's his basic direct energy, like with McClean which I what I think we'll benefit from most.
Watched him a few times on sky ,lets hope he can mix it with the seniors ,fingers crossed for him if given a chance
Let's hope young Watmore proves you right marra.... For all our sakes !! If you're good enough.. You're old enough eh !!
