The problem could come if one of them gets injured, we need to find a way to pull N'Doye out of the Senegal squad.
This smog cloud must have psychoactive properties as I find we seem to be agreeing with each other with an alarming frequency.
There are a few people in my office who work with Andy Williams on research into knee ligament reconstruction. He's as good as it gets apparently (wonder if he's sorted Harry out yet?). Edit to add: I used to walk past the Cromwell hospital every day walking from Earl's Court to Imperial College. It's right next door to the Bosnian embassy. I hope they don't try and nobble him.
There's a bloke on telly at the minute that's just operated on an alsation's leg and it's up and walking already and it's only an hour long programme. We should get him in. I don't know if the dog can play football though. Oh, hang on, scratch that, he's found something else from the way it walks so he's putting it down.
With Jelavic gone and only really N'Doye up front I think it's a case of Solitaire's The Only Game In Town.
Is it time to bring Sagbo back in from the cold? I assume we'll be 4-5-1 from now on. Packing the midfield.
Aluko should be on the wing or on the bench. I give him loads of **** on here cos of how **** he is up front but when he comes off the bench and plays right wing he's decent.
I think Hernandez will come good. 5 goals between him and N'Doye for the rest of the season and we're fine.
I have just risen here in Oz at 12 noon (I don't do mornings) and just read this on Jelly's knee operation. We all know he has been 'nursing' something so his goal tally this season is remarkable really. Geezus H what did we do to deserve these injuries this season. Forget Sagbo, you might as well fly me over but Aluko could do a job on the wing, as some other poster mentioned, but he's far too lightweight up front. The question is - can he become a 'team' man or will he 'go for glory' every time he gets the ball? Ramirez is another who has a bit of class but, again, far too lightweight at this level.(imo) So, we finish up with two strikers on the field but none on the bench. Let us hope they can both give 90 minutes.
When he played against West Ham the biggest criticism levelled was he didn't pull the trigger enough with about 5 chances going begging in the first half. I think this is a sign that Aluko is much more conscious - perhaps too much so - of passing to team mates.
