The Tigers are set to be without Nikica Jelavic for a minimum of six weeks after the striker underwent surgery on a persistent and long-standing knee problem earlier this week. The Club’s medical staff had hoped to manage Jelavic’s knee through until the end of the season, however following the Leicester game it was decided surgery should take place as soon as possible to prevent further damage and complications in the future. Jelavic underwent arthroscopic surgery under Andy Williams at The Cromwell Hospital London. The striker will now undergo a period of rehabilitation in his bid to regain fitness. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...iker-jelavic-2346320.aspx#2w6126H5HrAwdyYI.99
In a way,I'm sort of excited to see how a Hernandez/N'Doye partnership could develop. It kicks ass for me on FIFA. Anyway,no point crying about Jela's knee,we all knew it was a bit dodgy and liable to go pop at some point.
Do we have a Spanish speaking coach who can inform Hernandez that Premier League goalframes aren't 40 feet high?
In all seriousness, I think if we're gonna stay up, either Hernandez has to really come good in the next few weeks, or probably more likely, Burnley and Sunderland have to hardly win another game.
Think Hernandez will be a much better option than some think. He looks to be settling and improving at long last, admittedly only judged by his recent short cameo appearances, but in those cameos he's already caused more problems and looked far sharper than he has in the rest of his game time here excluding Everton and West Ham home games.
