    Can see no reason for JWP to be called up for the senior squad based on form...apart from how highly he is rated by the U21 manager. The most important thing for him is the U21 Championship in the summer.

    Other than "Big Club" blindness, there is no reason why Ryan should not be in the squad:
    1. Baines - been out injured a lot, part of one of the worst defensive units in the EPL, shadow of his previous self
    2. Gibbs - struggles to get in the Arsenal team who are poor defensively. Bombs forward without care of his defensive duties. Clueless
    3. Shaw - where do I begin? In summary, a shadow of the Luke Shaw that burst onto the scene last season. Looks like the worries of the world are on his shoulders, looks tired, over weight, slow and still can't cross

    Also the article says that Lallana has played in the majority of games. Well, maybe he has played in over half of them but the article implies that he plays in all the games which he doesn't.

    Still at least Lambert should be raring to go:emoticon-0131-angel

    The defence is an absolute joke apart from Clyny, the rest are all out of form and playing poorly.

    What an absolute joke that he isn't in it! Despicable.

    Same is below average players. Jagielka and Smallinf have been poor all season.
    Shaw and Walcott are lucky to have played a handful of games between them.

    Why the hell are internationals being played now? The whole international calendar is a farce. In reality there should be one window during the season for internationals maybe lasting 3/4 weeks during which the euro/or World Cup qualifying matches can be played. Any more internationals can be played once the season finishes!!

    Targett joins JPW in U21s. Well done, Matty. Morgan and Jose called up for France and Portugal, respectively.

    Reed, Stephens and Turnbull called up for England U20s.

    Koeman in his press conference said if he got rid of two more, he could have a holiday :)
