We can spend big this summer, because of our skilful transfer dealings and management of FFP. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...oost-could-allow-him-to-sign-a-superstar.html Sorry haters, FFP is here and we're top of the league Never mind Roman will leave us soon or have his wealth embargoed over Ukraine.
Is Abramovich still here? Jeez, I was informed on good authority he was off in 2003, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 etc etc etc and we'd be in a spot of trouble. Knowledgeable football fans eh?
There is certainly some very good work going on by those involved in our financial operations. We have changed from a "splash the cash" mentality to a far more moderate and intelligent financial Club. Will be interesting to see whether this means we will again buy "big", bring through more youth players, or best of all, a combination of both.
Even if Abra stays, we'll be screwed when FFP comes in. Best-run club in the world Arsenal will dominate then
All clubs will have an extra £40 million to spend lol. FFP is also good for Chelsea anyway because other clubs can't do what you have been doing for 11 years. If it had come in all that time ago where would you be now, likely be playing in the Championship............... Anyway Chelsea have a campaign against them blah blah blah hahahahahaha
That's original. Never been heard before. Just one question, would we still have been allowed to play our European Cup games we'd qualified for? Answers on the back of inofuckallaboutfoootball postcard.
FFP is a rolling 3 year accumulation isn't it? If so doesn't your CL winning season accounts expire next year? Presumably they are a considerable part of the FFP boost, which will then go back down next season as you've gone back to big losses since. To be honest, I've given up trying to understand it, to be honest, far too many loopholes.
You wouldn't expect football fans to have knowledge of Abramovich's plans/finances, it's hardly a slight of anyone's football knowledge if people don't know if and when he gets bored/assets frozen/arrested. That you have benefited from his largesse is in doubt by no one.
Thats right you wouldn't, which is why they should have all shut the **** up about it, for the last decade......
So UIR's prediction he'd be player of the year doesn't look likely then.... Not even been United best player, not by a long shot. Jokes aside, I think De Gea should win player of the year, at least so far. It's not often a keeper is the one man in a 'one man team' !! Costa, Fabregas and Aguero have not matched their first half of the season form, that's for sure.
