Big fan of Verrati - quality young player.

Gundogan is class also but still worries over his fitness.

2 players who would instantly improve our midfield.

  2. Coates must have signed the longest ever contract when he joined us <laugh>

Edit: Just checked and he signed in 2011, seems longer than that!

The club didn't announce how long the contract was, just that it was "long term" - how much longer will he be here?

    So yes

Origi in = borini out and could be the plan b option too

Lambert out = ings in is very uninspiring

Balotelli out for a quality in

Aspas is just a straight get out

So if we look at this year... We had no forward. That can never happen again. Origi should suit style more than lambert did

    Is origi plus one enough?

At the back lose Coates and toure... What do we do then? Lovern is only cover and can is rcb then... Ilori for me cannot be cover and wisdom might not even be rated

  7. So you're suggesting Sturridge, Origi, Ings and A.N.Other as upfront options. I guess it depends who that latter player is but if someone like Neymadge or Tevez (obviously not those though) then it looks good IMO

I reckon Aspas will go, but I don't think we'll sell all three of Lambert, Borini and Balotelli. Not sure which one will stay, but I would imagine one will still be hanging around come August. I agree that Sturridge, Origi, Ings (if he happens) plus one of those three is pretty uninspiring. Think we'll need someone of the level of Lacazette, Aubaumayang (sp.) etc, if we can get them.

We haven't had Coates all season anyway and Toure's not played that much, so don't know much we really need to replace (as opposed to improving) there. Rodgers has mentioned Wisdom in his press conferences so I think he may stay. Not sure on Illori though. Alberto seems to have completely dropped off the radar as well. That said, is he really someone we need to replace? Surely we can just let him go as well (or keep him if he's good enough)? Texeira could play that position as well.

With an awesome record of 12 appearances in 15 years.

Everyone will still say "Ah, but remember his goal against QPR though?"

  11. It was a cracker. Third in the all time list behind Hendo's from Monday and the best one scored by Flanno against Spurs <ok>
