I have 'unignored' you as your tripe amuses me.
According to his 'wiki' Hernandez has 3 from 19 appearances but, to be fair, a number of those were for a few minutes only. I most certainly am not 'bleating' on about Hernandez as I still have high hopes but I don't believe he has scored in his last dozen appearances - do you want to compare that with Saurez?
To the best of my knowledge I have never complained about Jelly. You may be confusing me with the description of Caleb Folan, who imo, did a commendable impression of a Swiss Army Knife when running but could not get his left leg to go in the general direction of his right leg. I didn't mention Caleb in my list of "Not Strikers @rseholes" as he played at the lower level scoring 11 from 55. I also referred to Proschwitz as Der Deutch Esel (the German Donkey) which also may have confused you.
The players I have mentioned in my "Not Strikers @rseholes" list fully deserve to be there as they were all cr@p!:emoticon-0172-mooni

I don't think they're comparable. Hernandez wasn't that good in his first few games, he scored 3 goals which distracted from what were poor performances really. His best game was Everton at home and he's had a couple of decent sub appearances since then. N'Doye has looked good from the outset, I think it's unlikely he'll fade.

He was also excellent in his debut against West Ham.

He's fairly young and has shown glimpses on quality. Probably not a £10 million but I think he can still play a massive role for us.

The crux of the problem with Hernandez is he hasn't had a run of games since about October.

In all honesty I would drop Jelavic for Hernandez this weekend. Jelavic hasn't looked right since his knee broke down again, I'd rather have a fully fit, pacey striker in Hernandez running at Cahill and Terry than a slow, half fit striker with a bad knee.

I said that earlier in the threat.

Chelsea looked vulnerable to the ball down the side and in behind on Sunday.

He needs a run of games, and why not start now when Jelavic is clearly not right? Expose their defences weakness which seems to be pace and throw the kitchen sink at them.

Try and actually read my post next time if you want to label it tripe. I actually said you probably weren't one of the lot slinging **** at Jelavic but my point was you can tell when someone is a 'proper' striker.

If you're not bleating on about Hernandez why produce your 'striker file' that you pull out whenever you want to have a rant about strikers? You're comparing him to them are you not? 'Saurez' scored 4 goals in 13 starts, Hernandez has 3 goals in 13 starts. He scored them all at the start, and at a guess I'd say Suarez had longer gaps between his goals. Not sure the significance as Hernandez hasn't started a game since the horror show that was Newcastle from memory, where the whole team was appalling. Before that he was injured at WBA after 30 minutes where he didn't get a chance to show just how good he had been against Everton.

    Move on.

Hernandez is not on my list at the moment and I have hopes that he never will be but he is going to have to show something and pretty soon.
N'Doye has come out with all guns blazing. That is what we have needed.
Personally I would like to see Hernandez down the wing in an effort to get him into match fitness so that he can eventually do what he's supposed to do in the middle.
I still maintain that we have (when fully fit) a formidable side but we've had a belly-full of injuries this season, and nobody could have expected that, which has left Steve Bruce and his selectors having to play players out of position and bring in players who are not quite up to it at this level.
    Stiff game coming up.

So you would change a system that has been working over the last 6 weeks, to a system we don't have the players(no fit right back) to play a player out of position to give him match fitness?

So N'Doye has 3 goals in 6 games - or something like that.. you do realise that he has the exact same number of goals as Hernandez had over the same period?

No! Bruce has had no option but to play some players out of position for most of the season. My suggestion was just a hypothetical one as we do not have the players to afford this opportunity. We most certainly have little or no depth up front so he couldn't afford to play Hernandez anywhere but the bench to sub Jelly or N'Doye.

Let's just hope he doesn't follow in Hernandez' footsteps and score NONE in the next 9 games.

I wouldn't mind next season seeing a front threee of Jelavic, Snodgrass and Hernandez. Because let's be honest, N'Doye has just turned 30, he's going to slow down over the next 12-18 months.

I agree. I hope he continues to score. But saying N'Doye is a much better and much more 'proper' striker because of his start makes no sense.

You take the piss out of my posts and call my posts tripe, but of the two of us you're the one the majority of this site continues to mock and deride.

Not sure that means anything really, I post on here so infrequently that people presumably barely notice me. The vast bulk of my posts also came while I was in England last year which was before the like system was introduced.

It's just me being flippant at times and some posters take my serious posts as a joke whilst my 'tongue-in-cheek' posts are taken seriously.
Just off topic: We hav 30 degree's here tomorrow (Traralgon Victoria) and 19 degrees on Friday. Hope your Sydney weather is better.

Blue skies here which is a great change, football training tonight should be a bit more enjoyable than on Sunday when the skies opened up.
