Alright, fess up, who here was on a BA flight from Heathrow to Dubai last Saturday?? And remember. He who smelt it dealt it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/31908620
That's one expensive ****. That dump must have cost BA almost as much as Greez's faecal extravaganzas cost his employers.
Just highlights the crappy air that we all breathe in when we fly... 50% of it is recycled air that everyone else has breathed out or come out of the ****ter.... They say the air we breahed in was cleaner when smoking was allowed on flights than it is now because they didn't recycle the air
It's actually ****ing disgusting isn't it. Not surprised people often get ill after flying, especially long haul.
No you cant Some aeorplane windows do open though. Cessna single engine aeroplanes have windows that open. That is possible, because these small aeroplanes are significantly different in three ways: They are not pressurized, they don't fly as fast, and they don't fly as high. An airliner is pressurized to allow people to survive being at the extremely high altitudes flown. (People can't get enough oxygen in the thin air up there, so they pressurize the cabin to enable comfortable and safe breathing.) Without going into too much detail, this would make it so that opening a window would cause a massive rush of air that would take almost anything not tied down in the row or two around it. This could include body parts, although unless you can fit through the window, you probably wouldn't be sucked entirely out, you'd just plug the window with part of you hanging outside. This wouldn't be great. Also, a jet aircraft travels many hundreds of miles per hour in cruise. You wouldn't want to open the window due to the extreme noise this would cause. Most of the noise you hear in an airliner is wind noise as it is, and that's in a closed container. Thirdly, the temperature outside at cruise altitude is well below zero. Fresh, yes. Comfortable? Not one bit. The pilots windows can only be opened on the ground. The pressurization in the cabin prevents them from opening them in the air. These windows usually also double as escape hatches for the pilots. Air freshner would be a better idea Saint
Thats not the scary thing, it is called using your noggin I realised pretty quickly you wasnt meant to on a passenger jet when I found the handle but it came off in my hand, like they hadnt maintained it on purpose please log in to view this image Thought best not try that again and then did some research
Watching Carragher: A Liverpool Life. Carragher talking all about the CL win. "I'm not one to blow my own trumpet... I had cramp, then it went and I carried on" Legend
Watching it too. I didn't like Carragher when he first broke into the team but ****ing lobed him not long after. True legend and a perfect example to any youth player on how to behave and utilise your own limitations.
Listening to Carragher's speech at the end of the game.. bit of humour, bit of charisma... looking forward to Gerrard's at the end of the season
Sky sports 1 HD is showing Liversion v Swansea from Feb last year. Love watching the partnership Sturridge and Suarez had
