....is he that stupid RIPbartonsTash cretin that used to irritate both our board and the dark side's board?

Came out with a brilliant rant earlier which I felt deserved a thread to be started here.

"Who gives a **** about who Sunderland have signed?

None of their new players would get in our first team, Defoe is out of form and isn't as good as Bent or Gyan, and we've dealt with them before. Colo made them look like school girls. The last i heard both our clubs weren't going for Nzogbia because of his wages and the transfer fee.

Stop pissing your pants for ****s sake. A back line including Oshea, Wes Brown and Titus fat **** is something to celebrate isn't it? It's hardly better than their back four last season.

Their midfield - Cattermole - Half of Joey Barton. Sessegnon - Hardly lit the world on fire. A good player but i can't see him frightening the piss out of our back line. Gardner - A good midfielder, but Tiote will keep him quiet and bully him. Richardson - Not much better than Guthrie/Raylor.

Gyan - Good striker but we've dealt with him twice before, and Darren Bent is even better an we again managed to keep him from scoring when it mattered.

Wickham - Untested. A good striker but not one we should be wetting our pants over.

If we're going to have nightmares over ****ing Defoe and Insomnia then we may as well forget a top 10 finish because we'll be facing teams with much better players than them. Anyway, they're just RUMOURS!

    Rant over.. and breath."

Maybe he should watch a replay of Tiote's tackle and red card, when they got beat 3-1 of Stevenage

he is entitled to his opinion, i dont know anything about their new signings at all, so havnt commented, they may be world class but as i have never seen them play.

They do have selective memories though, they keep going on about Bramble, but he was in the CL with them, Collocini they payed 10 million for and the seasons he was there before they went down, he was a shambles most of the time, yes the championship season and last year he was better, but then so has Bramble since he left them, but to them Bramble will be forever ****e, Collo cant do anything wrong now.

Lets just wait and see who has the last laugh.

An absolutely fantastic tackle. Textbook example of how that sort of tackle should be executed. The Stevenage player disgraced himself with the playacting.

What exactly was wrong with it. He got all of the ball and none of the player. He didn't just lunge in and boot the ball away either, he judged it perfectly to swipe the ball back and ensure he was in possession after the challenge.

Be honest, would you really be condemning that tackle if it wasnt a Newcastle player.

I'm all for tough tacklers marra, but I suggest you watch the video above and then tell me that was not a dangerous tackle. He must have lept 2 feet in the air and in with both feet. Players just can't do that anymore and it was worthy of the straight red.

Disagree, and although Tiote is a decent player, you can't rely on him to play too many games.

And that was also a day when you got battered by Stevenage, so maybe people, should remember these things.

And as for comparing our new players, i'm guessing he's feeling a bit nervy and trying to cheer himself up.

Hand on heart, it has nothing to do with him being a Newcastle player. This sort of play was outlawed a couple of seasons back. Players are just not allowed to jump into tackles anymore. They don't even have to touch the other player for it to be a straight red.

Dont talk rubbish. He jumped in of course but was skillful enough to execute a perfect tackle with 1 foot.

I thought the skill of tackling was something to be applauded.

There is a difference between a desperate and dangerous lunge and a calculated lunge. If he misjudged it and took the player he deserved to go but he didnt, he pulled it off to perfection so instead deserves plaudits not criticism.

That's exactly my point. Players are not allowed to 'jump' into a tackle anymore. It is classed as dangerous play.
