Can't believe I'm saying this but, take Sammy off, put Jonas in and we'd be better.

 

Well, you can't fault Janmaat for trying. But he should learn to know what he can do and what he can't do. I'm getting tired of seeing him being overly ambitious playing the ball.

 

Todays tactics

Team shouldn't have to work too hard. so take it easy lads, as Everton will be shattered and hardly able to move, If we play at walking pace..that will kill their tired legs. Stand about looking clueless as much as you can too, as that will confuse the hell out of Everton

Front two ...wander about a bit up top, don't make any runs and ball watch as much as possible..

Midfield ...go missing, dont close or work too hard..be overrun ideally, try not to string any passes together

Defence... fanny about, and hoof the ball up every time you are luckily enough to get near it. Let Lukaku have fun toying with you ..he's had a tough season so far

Feel like I should apologise chaps, I got home hours later than I thought because of the A19 closure, checked the line-ups, immediately put on the game. The Man Utd Spurs game.

Not surprised we're losing, just surprised from the reports that Everton have been so insipid against that side. Riviere? Carver must be getting paid to do this?

Jonas wasn't good enough 4 seasons ago. Good for him getting back fit, but this isn't a testimonial.

Tim Howard's form has been a bit dodgy lately but the Everton keeper produces a fine low diving stop to deny Moussa Sissoko. Time running out for Newcastle.

We should just about be ok as we banked enough points before Pardew left, but it's been downhill since then. We'll see what we're missing as Palace sail past us in the league in a couple of weeks!
