When Boaz first grew his hair at West Brom it was sensible but now he's tried to make a fashion statement :-(
Major blast from the past there! I remember watching that game on some dodgy stream & every time Boaz was making a save, the stream would freeze! Great keeping!
Ye thought of Rodney straight away too. Great keeper he was. Seem to remember him always doing warm ups and stretching on the edge of the box when the ball was up the other end. Anyone else remeber or tell me I'm talking rubbish?
That was certainly a highlight. The lowlight for me came against Arsenal at home in 2010 when we were holding on for a 1-1 draw and in the 93rd minute a shot by Denilson from distance straight at Myhill was parried straight back out to Bendtner who shot home the winner. A draw may have saved Phil Brown but that loss saw his replacement by super- manager Dowie!
We might need a new 2nd choice next year. And he'd have a better chance displacing greegsy than foster
Never understood why anyone with a decent head of hair would shave it off...sure if you are going bald it stops you looking like a monk or Jimmy Greaves, but if you have hair & are not going bald then keep it on your head.....looks 10 years younger as well !!
