It really was **** today. I hate it when it's a good atmosphere pre match but the second the game kicks off there's a wave of everyone sitting down one row at a time and it never recovers. The top few rows looked alright today but where I was sat was sterile as ****, same as the match. The design of the ground doesn't help at all. There's no doubt the players gave their all as always, problem is our all is capable of 0 goals as often as not, and that goes for a lot of teams at our level.
I saw a strip sitting but from where we were, cc seats 500 I genuinely thought everyone was standing. I also thought our support was tremendous through the game even with the **** reffing. Yes Castro, I even sang and chanted today.
Did you see that thousands walked out at the SOL before half time and some fans stormed the dugout to have a pop at Poyet today? Proper supporters up there. The best.
Sort of understand what you mean. Don't think I've ever felt so disconnected from the club, players, all of it and before some of you start jumping on the it's Allams fault I don't think it is. I believe it's what comes with the Premier League unfortunately.
Well no, I was in Leicester. Clown shoe. Lolz! Just seen that. Aren't they a proper team, with proper fans in a city totally behind them and weren't we told we should be more like them?
I'm not being sarcastic or anything but have you been to West Brom the last couple of years? I dunno why but it's always a bloody great atmosphere in the away end there, I think having one big block of away fans together helps. The bloody sun didn't help today either. It was hard to see anything.
April 2015 will be 50 years of going to City games.. Lots of great days....some not so great days. I have loved being a City fan no matter what league we have played in....Born in Hull....so i support Hull City.... I loved it at Boothferry park on bunkers and in the kempton and all that went with it. Now i love it at the KC in the North Stand. The old days were great for me but so are these times for lots of reasons. Infact the last 3 seasons have been great for me. I love going to watch Hull City .
I didn't say it was the best ever, but we were loud and proud and got behind the team. I was pretty much middle of our corner and about three quarters of the way up. It looked fine to me. Agree about the sun tho it was only for the last twenty mins or so for us.
Top rows everyone stood up One of the juniors was stood on seat the entire game...lots of singing ... Was there a fight amongst city fans right side about half way down ...something went off and junior stood on seat thought it was a fight among city fans .
Agree with this^ .............. I saw a few sat down in the front rows but certainly a lot more standing, problem today was we had plenty of singers but they were split up all over the place. Not nice to see our fans fighting amongst themselves btw, saw a couple of blokes going toe to toe halfway up the stand, before stewards, and then coppers got involved.
Ps...though i loved the early 70s i wouldnt have took the Juniors to alot of games back then....not that they were born then but its great that they can go all over and never have to fear anything .
Good to hear Riley. The beautiful thing about football is that it's a game to be enjoyed by all ages. I've been going since 1957 and every game is different, every game could be 'the one' to remember, every game could be a piece of history to recite to the grandchildren. Long may us 'oldies"continue ...
I never saw it last year when I went but there was a lot of work going on, the Harry Potter train was just getting ready to open, I love Universal Studios brings out the kid in me
