Not read the comments regarding todays farce but noticed there's no poll. This is your chance to air your position. Would you sack him? I would. Kevin Ball would do a better job I don't doubt it for a second.

    Q. What's better than playing a left footed CAM, whose obviously talented but about as a fast as JoS, as an inside right who's too slow to beat a man on the outside?

    A. Keep switching him to to the left side so he's disabled on his natural side.

    Q. Whats better then playing Bridcutt as your DM?

A.Playing two DMs at home against a relagation rival making the the better DM (Rodwell) play a more advanced role that he's **** at.

    Q. What's better than playing an up and coming CF on the flank, giving him too much defensive responsibility in a position he clearly can't play?

    A. Playing a more experienced CF who's never played wide in his life who you'd only ever want popping up in the box where he's dangerous and is three yeards slower and much weaker than the up and coming forward who can't play that position either.

    Q. What's better than bemoaning the lack of a quick, direct winger through injury who's done naff all when he has played?

    A. Starv the only sensible option of even a place on the bench despite the lad having more talent in his little toe than this 'great' player we apparently miss so badlay, who's fully fit, hungry and confident.

    Q. What's better than going 2--0 down and despite having all the players on the pitch to change it and give the loan, isolated striker a partner to work with to get us back into the game but not even bothering?

    A. Waiting not only until we're 3-0 down, not even 4-0 down but waiting until the the second the 2nd half when we're dead and buried until he makes that adjustment.

    Q. What's better than keeping the defensive line so deep to pick up the ball quickly and pass it when they're not capable of doing it?

    A. keeping the defensive line so deep to pick up the ball quickly and pass it when they're not capable of doing it with a keeper who can't distribute at all.

These are the incorrect answers of an idiot who's completely lost plot. No balance, no width, no penetration. When your defence, who's usually so solid, crumbles like this so early and there's nowt in front of them what so ever that remotely resembles a team who can pitch in, keep the ball, keep it's calm and press on just to give them a bit of leeway to organise themselves, you know we're going to be embarrassed. It was embarrassing. The idiot has lost the dressing room clearly. The idiot has tried everything except play a full team in their natural position, He hasn't the foresight to introduce and develop our youth. The bloke clearly doesn't have clue what to do. Bye bye from me.

Saying that. It is a poll and there's more then one side to the question. So if you're you still Pro Gus, please by all means present your reasoning for keeping him. Mind you, saying keep him purely on the bases that switching managers so often doesn't help isn't much of a case to put forward. It's a case I do agree with in a way. But keeping a **** manager just to avoid chopping and changing managers is demented. On that logic we might as well still have McMenemy and saved ourselves millions and millions. I'd much prefer giving a decent manager an extended run. I need good reason to back him now. I really need the help of the Pro Gus fans to re install some belief here, because I'm spent. :(

**** team **** fans by the way. I not only stayed till half time, I stayed till the end. (left bang on full time though:p)

So what's the score's on the boards?

I think Poyet's position is indefensible. I thought he was better than this, haven't seen anything of today's game but watched the Hull game and while a point was a fair result the starting line up was settling for a 0s each before they kicked the ball. He has to go and the sooner the better. Don't care if it means relegation, we need a root and branch clearout and a strong manager to wield the big stick

I'd only sack him only when we have a quality proven replacement lined up - it might be a long wait though <doh>

How can we possibly keep him after today? I have him a tiny bit of rope after QPR and we were lucky to get a point against Hull!

    A. Is it you describing yourself trying to shag your lass after a night on the pish?

Seriously though it's pretty obvious Poyet is a disgrace of a manager, I hope you lot keep him until at least after the derby...

John Cardew are you nuts? The one thing he is good at is derbies, I'm bricking it that he's still there.

I think we were unlucky not to beat hull. Bad decision cost us the points (free kick) other than that I completely agree. Imo his position is untenable. Big crowd today and he ****ed it up alongside a number of the team. But he has to go imo. For whom I have no idea. Not Bally. We are down if he does that

Even I think he has to go now if we are to stay up. However, Im not too keen on repeating the cycle with yet another manager.

If this club is to really improve, I think we need two or three yrs away from the prem to build a style of play throughout the club and bring some young local lads through. Could a young manager like Gus do it if he stays? Possibly. He's been trying it in a league that just doesn't give you an inch to breathe.

out! but the players must take 75% of the blame! I honestly think that relegation might be a blessing in disguise! We might have to risk taking one step back in the hope of taking two steps forward! Because I dont think I can cope with supporting the bunch of losing, no hoping, couldnt give a **** tosspots any longer! I'd rather support ****ter championship players trying hard than so called 'decent' premier league players who care more about buying their new sports cars than keeping the team i love afloat! I fear that as long as we stay a premier league team, these are the type of players we are always gonna attract! They have the quality (on paper) but they havnt the passion! Decent players but with baggage! Makes me sympathise with Keane, Bruce, O Neill and Di Canio suddenly!

I don't mind whether we stay up, get relegated (if we are bad enough come the end of the season then so be it), but what I DO CARE about, is OUR beloved SAFC being made a laughing stock of to the rest of the world !!!! Not only were we losing 0-4 but stitching up a players ankle, to watch him hobble onto the pitch and continue to hobble in pain for the remainder of the half................ Brainless, heads-gone, team management, and he should WALK Away with his hands up saying he just wasn't up to the job.

Sorry marcus, but I can't agree with that. I will never ever enjoy a Sunderland less than first rate (even if it is by the skin of their teeth). I'll no doubt get skinned for it, but I was never a Hurley admirer, and much as I loved George Mulhall's direct, effective play ( rather similar to Willie Ormond's!) it was all the same second division stuff and I could never like it. SAFC to me is first rate or letting their fans down, and that I can't take. My aim must always be up, never down. No Championship for me. never.

    Dear Bastard,

I’m really disappointed and it’s a difficult result to take.

I just want to keep it simple today and analyse everything tomorrow.

We started well but then after conceding early we paid the price. We can talk about positioning and certain things but it’s too easy to criticise people, I’d rather not do that.

We were positive in the build-up to the game but after the two early goals the situation changed and it is overall a disappointing day.

We have to move forward now, we need to analyse certain things as it’s important for the future, you can’t just forget what has happened, we must learn from this and move on.

    Thanks for your support,

    Gus Poyet
