I got (and took) 4/1 for an away win at the CCS last Saturday - for a bit of fun and to my shame, I just stuck a fiver on it and got a result. I was 20 quid better off but it was little consolation for the lack of points, although with the bottom 3 so far adrift, the dropped points may be academic.

Fast forward to this coming weekend and just been looking at the odds offered me for an away win at Griffin Park this Saturday.

    Strange coincidence that - it's 4/1 again.

Should I push it and try my luck with the same bet?

    At least.

I'm considering an unusually rash prediction in our little league.

Speaking of rashes, where's Masky? Is he still at Tesco?

Hmmm......just noticed this morning that City have now gone out from 4/1 to 9/2 for the away win.

I backed them to lose last week so bugger it, I'm going to press the button and have that fiver on it despite Slade.......<laugh>

Steady on remote, gimme chance to enjoy it....<laugh> I chickened out on another little bet I had running alongside it though.

I'd stuck just 2 quid on predicting the correct scoreline as well. I'd got 12/1 on a Brentford 1 City 2 final score to win me £24. When Revell scored our second the "cash out" figure went up to just over £11. I thought I'd hang on for a bit before hitting the button to take a profit. It got to £13 and then Harris got his red. I hit the button but they were too quick for me and cancelled the option before it was cleared.....<laugh>

The option came back up just before Macheda got his marching orders, so I chickened out and took £13.50 to cancel the bet. If I'd had the guts to hang on, I'd have had the full £24 but hey ho eh? <whistle>

OK, Sparkey. You can buy the beers from your next win.

I throw fivers away regularly Stevo, but I haven't been sectioned yet..........<laugh>

Look guys - serious stuff now. I've just pulled up my account and I see I can have a City win by any score at 3/1, the draw at 11/4 and an away win at evens.

    What do you think?

Question - can Macheda play tomorrow after the two yellows on Saturday?

I don't know if I'm missing something here, but they're offering 11/4 on Macheda scoring tomorrow night although he's not playing - I bet Stevo will still have a fiver on it though.......<laugh>

He has to be suspended, he'd still be a better bet than the majority of our squad though <laugh>

OK, done it like I said I would in my prediction league post - Gawd help me.......<laugh>

Going for broke (I probably will be after this) and having a tenner with this lot. Just placed it and I lay myself open to ridicule. <laugh>

£6 on City to win by any score @ 7/2
    £2 on a correct 3-1 scoreline @ 33/1
£2 on Morrison scoring (at any time) @ 9/1

Just a bit of fun and probably be a tenner down the pan, but hey, you never know eh?
