Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter - i backed Catching On last time out and it was daft how easy he won. I took 10/1 ante post for this race for this and i think i'll get a terrific run for my money. A strong favourite now.

Looks like i'm the only one betting on Saturday but Uttoxeter is calling and a winner there is worth the same as a winner at Cheltenham.

Audacious Plan each way in the 2.40 at 8/1 to compliment Catching On from my first post.

Anyone know why David Pipe isn't running anything in the Midlands National this year? Won it the last 4 years so you would think he would at least have one to throw at it

Brody Bleu in the 4 40 at Kempton must have a great chance -I also like your Curtis horse at Uttox bob -and I'm on SaminGarry in the slog at 33/1 -Nigel Hawke loves these types of races!

Good to see you are Catching On Bob, didn't know you backed him the last day, I know I tipped him on here and he could be called the winner from a long long way out. He will be seven pounds higher than his penalised mark after tomorrow so in theory he is well in. The opposition looks decidedly modest so he really does look a handicap penalty kick.
One I am interested in at bigger prices in the race is CADEAU GEORGE who tries the trip for the first time. I am tempted to have an each way at the prices but if CATCHING ON is in the same form as he was at Exeter he will not get beaten.

Another fast improving young chaser is CANUSPOTIT who runs in Kemptons 3:30, he missed a race today in order to come here. He is improving at a rate of knots and can go in again.

I shall back them both in singles and double them up!

I'm on Buck Magic in that Canuspotit race each way at 10's. I think yours will be tough to beat but that Mullholland/Geraghty combination is irresistible and i'm almost certain he'll out run his odds.

It's got a bit of an 'after the Lord Mayor's show' feel about it as usual hasn't it? However, I'm interested in the Reeveley's Waltz Darling at Newcastle. Any word Dan?

Unmitigated disaster at Cheltenham for me. Back to the bread and butter today. Agree CATCHING ON should win too short in that race though so preference is for WYCHWOODS BROOK 28/1. Another EW play is THUNDERING HOME 2.20 Kempton around about 25/1.

I agree with Wychwoods Brook, is a huge price and should run a big race. A slight concern is that the yard seem to have gone out of form of late but if they can get back on track then their only other runner for the day Allez Vic in the 3:30 Kempton must have a chance too at 5s

Although I enjoyed watching Cheltenham, financially it was horrible & for that reason I'm only backing 2 today.
    Lingfield,3-05.Cloudscape.
Uttoxeter,3-50.Hawkes Point, singles & small double.
    Good luck to all.
