That match summed up a lot of the things wrong with matches at the top level, cheating, bad refs, poor football to watch, the first half was diabolical. No way should Ibrahimovic have been sent off for that tac kle, Oscar is one of those that makes me sick with his antics
Can't say I will miss it when it goes on BT next year Just the same dozen or so teams every year Quite bored of it really

I thought the early red card against Shakhtar was harsh as well. I doubt the outcome of the match would have been any different but the interest level was high after Shakhtar's surprise draw at home. Could an even-strength side have held off Bayern Munich's attack on their home pitch? Now we'll never know. And it wasn't a sprorting match to watch.
I don't like any of our teams. I've seen enough of them week in week out & get bored of them. I use the European matches to see other teams from around Europe. If an English team wins it, the dickheads at the top, like that complete arse Scudamore, bang on about it being the best in the world, which it isn't. Plus, if they dominate they don't address the problems within the league or our national team.
No, for two reasons. 1. Shakhtar are nowhere near even-strength to Bayern. 2. Bayern are the best team in Europe.
This. Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are incredibly dislikeable. Man City aren't great either, but they aren't as bad as those 3. The Chelsea-PSG match last night summed up why English teams are dislikeable.
Because of the antics of foreigners? Who ironically make up 100% of the non English teams in the champions league.
Surprising as this may seem to you Hattie, not all foreigners act like ****s. But the majority of ones at English clubs do.
I think we do have the best league in the world our top teams aren't as good as the top teams from Spain and Germany but the league as a whole is strong.
It wouldn't me, because they'd probably strip the EL qualification spot from the league cup to give to 5th in the premier league.
It would mean one fewer of the big teams earning loads more money per season through CL TV rights though. Or at least I think it would, I might be talking out of my arse mind.
