Fcking hell...just wondered onto here http://www.not606.com/threads/march-how-our-season-will-turn-out.293489/#post-7693858 ...and found gooners talking of a title challenge. THIS is why arsenal fans make me laugh. Completely ruled by heart rather than head (much like their manager). The emotional self-inflected highs and lows they must go through from week to week must be incredible.
There was a Real Madrid fan who said if we win our next three games in a row we'd be back in the title challenge to which all the Arsenal fans disagreed and clearly think he's gone a little OTT. Arsenal fans feel we can get third place with an outside chance of City messing up and us grabbing second. Which seems about the right level of ambition considering our current position and remaining games. No idea what's got you so excited...
Blatant penalty by Sterling handling the ball in the area when the straiker was primed to shoot. Deliberate but obviously not seen by the ref. I'd be very surprised if given that kind of referee bias the RS do not get an FA semi and a CL place.
Are any of you lot going to come play Mafia for the international break starting 23 March or will you be too busy making Van Gaal Out banners after we thrash you at Anfield? Sign up here: http://www.not606.com/threads/mafia-5-sign-up-sheet-target-date-23rd-march.293784/
It's a roleplaying strategy game. MITO will make up some rules of his own but the basic idea is there is a secret team of mafia. The good guys try to work out who is mafia and vote to kill them. The mafia try to stay hidden and work together to vote to kill the good guys. You vote once per day and the game lasts about a week. It usually goes a bit mental. The last game we played was in November: http://www.not606.com/threads/mafia-4.283180/
Gotta say i love it. Some fun times playing mafia. Especially if afcftw is playing, his accusation posts are normally a hoot.
Ancelotti will be available in the summer but I wouldn't want him. Given what he has at his disposal, the job he's done with Real in La Liga has been pretty awful. Clearly a good cup manager though (or perhaps he can't motivate his players in La Liga but they do fancy the CL).
The view that United players so called "dived" yesterday does not make the fact that the RS players constantly dive and cheat any less true. Granted: they are more trained and more skillful at it and yesterday confirmed the bias of the referees. The RS just get away with it - should have been at least 3 or 4 yellow cards for diving and cheating at Anfailed whilst United got punished. So nothing for the deluded RS to be proud about...
United players are bloody too thick. The RS to give them credit are excellent at it. That's why they never get booked. Apparently Brenda gets his strikers to practice like some practice penalties.
They will be ****ed next year, Starfish Stevie (the instructer) will have gone and his prize pupil Sterling may go too
