Not going to answer until you give us your answer as you have a habit of avoiding questions put to you But then you don't like to "predict" results so you cannot possibly give an answer.
We need stoke to start dropping points and we may get 8th place but im happy that we have opened a gap below us that we are more or less assured a top half finish and will end up 1st or 2nd in the unofficial 2nd league of the also rans....Hopefully next season if monk will be allowed to spend some decent money we can replace 4 or 5 of our players with a bit more quality and we can do better and aim for a European spot and do better in the cup matches......
Given our run in Dai, a Europa spot this season isn't out of the question still. We have had worse run ins than this
Swans v Liverpool 1-2 0 pts Aston Villa v Swans 1-1 1pt Swans v Hull 2-0 3 pts Swans v Everton 1-1 1 pt Leicester v Swans 1-1 1pt Newcastle v Swans 1-0 0 pts Swans v Stoke 2-1 3 pts Arsenal v Swans 2-0 0 pts Swans v Man City 1-2 0 pts Crystal Palace v Swans 0-0 1 pt Total points 10
only games I can see we would get nothing from would be Liverpool (maybe a point), Arsenal and maybe Man City, rest are all winnable
Swans v Liverpool 1 pts Aston Villa v Swans 1pt Swans v Hull 3 pts Swans v Everton 1pt Leicester v Swans 3pt Newcastle v Swans 0 pts Swans v Stoke 1pts Arsenal v Swans 0 pts Swans v Man City 0 pts Crystal Palace v Swans 1 pt 11 points but being pessimistic with a few
I've got us with 12 points from that run of fixtures. I've given us all three points away at Newcastle (we've done it before!) If there are any positives to come from the awful spitting incident (and I'm clutching at straws here) it's the fact that Cisse will miss the game against us, he loves a goal against us doesn't he!
I said months and months ago we will get 54 points, and I'm not going to change my view, though it will probable be around 48/52, so I think 12 points is probable reasonable from the games we have left............
2012/2013 played 28 points 40 position 8th 7 points from the remaining games. So anything more than 7 and I will be happy
Looking at the games, I'll be satisfied with anything over the 50-point mark. We should be good enough to take the points off Villa, Hull and Leicester. Everton and Newcastle are both average, and Crystal Palace should be safe and on their holidays by the last game of the season. If we can't take at least 10 points from this run-in, the only explanation is that our players' minds will have gone on their holidays early yet again! As a mental barrier, breaking the 50-point mark will be huge and should give us a new target to aim for every season. We're at the point of our development where we should be aiming for 50 points, not 40, at the start of every season.
