I hope Norwich was the turning point, like coming back from 2-0 down against bolton in our first season back in the championship, it was a case of we can't possibly play worse, so the pressure is off, and it changed our season big time. I hope the subsequent upturn has put wind in the teams sails, so hopefully we will continue in this vain, playing with confidence. I expect a tough game on Sat away from home which we will potentially lose. I hope I am proved wrong
Don't worry, guys, I'm here to bring order to events. I shall of course offer my thoughts in a reasoned and balanced manner, and I shall of course call a spade a spade. By the way, thanks must go to FHB and Ken Shabby for the recent mentions. I love you too, gents. I just need to have a read through the previous 134 threads in order to gauge the general zeitgeist of the forum... ... ... ... So, to sum up, we are all happy to see Charlton win again, but some of us are not happy with the current ownership. Many were horrified at Luzon's appointment, while many were just happy to see the back of the previous incumbent. The new man has surprised the majority with his back-to-basics approach and fruitful use of the squad, yet a few will be happy to see the man fall flat on his odd face. The Charlton camp is, therefore, at loggerheads and the rows are ubiquitous. To be honest, I can't really see the difference to any other season over the last 7 or 8 years. COYA!
The whole 7 years comment - spot on. I think as fans we've always been more divided than most clubs too. Good to have you back. Have you been away on travels?
I'll try, FHB. Sorry about the man-love thing. I was overwhelmed, you see. The last few months have been nothing but travelling and illness. And sometimes both at the same time. I won't bore you all with my stories just yet, though. They can wait till tomorrow.
