I think this team would have been the making of Jordan. Yes we done well from his transfer, very well and it has allowed us to push forward. But looking at the new players alone, forgetting his fee, i think he would have excelled in this new team. He wouldn't be forced to play in the centre, got more experienced defenders behind him. We'll see how he does at LFC if they play him on the R/W.
I agree mate: although I'm delighted with our signings, I was still sorry to see a local lad go despite the grossly inflated transfer fee we received for him.
Yes he would, Henderson is better than Larrson just not at free kicks or corners but in general play/passing/movement & pace he is better and will only get better. However we have bought nearly a whole new team with Henderson's money just waiting for Krancjar & Defoe to come from Spurs
Apart from two crosses last year Wigan cross for Gyan liverpool cross for Bent, that was it Larrson is a far better crosser and free kick taker than Henderson and his corners were crap However i agree that henderson has a lot to learn i just hope he gets time and a chance and i was sad to see the lad go but like the majority £19m was good buisseness at the time. As for the scums tranfer i don't give a **** i feel we have progressed and at this moment in time we have done better than them in transfers. We have lost 1 good player in Henderson and brought in 9 players. The scum won't renew there top players contracts and are waiting to abandon ship like rats The majority we brought in have PL experience The Foreign Legion up the road don't
