Worse than that, you could almost look at those "highlights" and think we were lucky!

Well done lads - we gave you a bit of a scare at the end but it would have been a bit of a travesty if the result was anything other than a Spurs win!
Thought the first half was pretty even (although you had more chances) but you dominated the second and could have scored more if I'm honest. Thought Oliver had a good game Yid (and he is not my favourite referee - has been a thorn in our side at times - but not tonight).

Thought your fans showed real class with the applause they gave Gomis as he was stretchered off; was a worrying few minutes for us Jacks, but can report that he is absolutely fine - apparently a long standing medical condition that he has had to live with!

No shame in losing to you - some of your approach play in the second half was sublime and we would have had no complaints if you had scored a couple more! But am encouraged by the spirit we showed in defeat, and really can't understand why we don't start with Montero!

Really enjoyed my first visit to White Hart Lane and am hoping it can become a regular trip - some great banter with your support! Really hope you get that European slot ahead of Manure - that would be sweet! Good luck for the rest of the season!

Cheers, Dragon. It was a good game. I had a stop and start feed that was so bad that after the Gylfi goal I figured I'd check the match thread to make sure we'd won--and we had! Tragically, I was deprived of my first few minutes (ever, it seems) of anxiety-free Spurs watching, as my feed was over when I refreshed it.

It knew that I was going to enjoy watching it, so it refused to show me anything.

I continue to like Swansea for playing the kind of football that's worth watching. It's all very well to win things, but if you bore the pants off everyone doing it, no one will pay anything to view games any more, and then where will the game be?

I've also been a big fan of Gylfi for a while, was sorry to see him leave us, and glad to see him doing well at Swansea again. I hope you win all the rest of your games.

Chadli has a better minutes per goal record than Van Persie, Rooney, Hazard, Pelle, Lukaku, Sterling and Gerrard. He also has a better assists per minute ratio than Hazard, Sterling, Cazorla, Silva, Coutinho and Eriksen(!). Someone should tell a pundit but under no circumstances tell Real Madrid <grr>

Congratulations to Eriksen for getting his second league assist of the season tonight. He's useless when he doesn't score :D

I was just saying Eriksen only having one assist in the PL is one of our weirder statistical anomalies this season. He keeps putting it on a plate and not getting a PL assist out of it.

Chadli has been a brilliant finisher this season, all things considered. He never seems to have the ball very often, but may be the most dangerous player on the team when he does. Some credit should go to the Pochettino system, which I think is designed for an LM to do something like what Chadli is doing.

Hey Dragon, thanks for that. I remember coming back into London once from the west and getting stuck on the North Circular in the Swansea crowd going to Wembley for the championship playoff final. The crowd was in such good spirits that I didn't mind one bit. Always had a soft spot for Swansea after that. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Cheers for the good words mate, glad to hear Gomis is ok. I had thoughts back to Muamba a few years back and scarily enough, it was pretty much in the exact same spot as where Muamba had collapsed so it was bringing back some frightful memories. My Cousin said he could see Gomis' arm move at one point which suggested he was conscious at the time, so that was encouraging but glad he's all good now, I read about him collapsing before a few times at Lyon, seems a reoccurring problem.

Best of luck for the season, was great seeing Gylfi back, typical that the bugger scored though!

Despite the result being close, I thought that was one of our better performances of the season with the defensive lapses aside (I'm going to create some form of keyboard shortcut for defensive lapse/ poor defending). Thought we were efficient with possession this time around, Chadli's goal was well taken and the cross from Rose was inch perfect. Was delighted for Mason to get his first league goal, he's more than deserved it and you could see the passion on his face once it went in, really good finish again. Was quite funny when Townsend scored, as he made the run and cut back, my Cousin shouted "what you bloody doi...... YEEAAAAAAAAH!" <laugh> he had a bit of egg on his face but what great composure and finish from Andros. All 3 goals were really well taken and with 2 of them being from academy lads it always makes it special in my opinion. Great save from Hugo at the death, we typically made hard work of it in the final minutes but you can always rely on Hugo to be switched on from the first to the last minute, what a world class keeper he is.

Had a bit of a funny moment with the stewards, my other Cousin is a bit of hot head and likes using the **** word a bit too much, he must have said it about 15 times (aimed at the ref and linesman mainly) and then a couple of stewards came over, so naturally I thought they were gonna have a word with him about his language, the first steward turns around to the one behind him and says "are these the lads?", to which the other nods and so he turns around to us and says "right we're now monitoring you on camera as we've caught you saying sheep!", SHEEP! ****ing sheep! We all laughed in their faces which I don't think they appreciated but in all my years of going to the Lane, I've never heard of anything so ridiculous, here's me thinking my Cousin is going to be warned for foul language and the three of us along with two fellas in front are cautioned for using the word "sheep", needless to say we poked some fun at it all night, saying how "ba-a-a-a-ad" we must have been but I couldn't believe how pathetic those blokes were to have us up on that. I'm pretty sure the Swansea fans - who had some good banter - even made sheep songs about themselves but all I can say is just wow, what an experience to be warned and cautioned about saying sheep. Made my evening.

Anyway, good three points, bring on QPR!

Theres something I really don't like about Motty as a commentator. I can't place it but he just rubs me up the wrong way.

What’s the world come to if you can’t joke about bestiality?

I used to enjoy sadistic, bestial necrophilia myself. But I was beating a dead horse.

I think that he's just a bit too old and he can't keep up with it all anymore.
He's still fairly likeable and harmless and his knowledge of the history of the game is good, but he gets a bit befuddled at times.

Yes it was a good game, and you are looking like a well organised team now after losing Bale, I remember coming on here some seasons back when you were fighting off relegation and Harry was about to be appointed as your new manager, and I remember saying to you boys you'll be on the up now with Harry, and you really haven't looked back since, some of your attacking football was very impressive, and rocked our defence second half, it was a long shot for us to get an away win against you, it seems you are our bogey team at the minute, and I'm sure we will overcome eventually, I always like to see you and Arsenal doing well, because both teams play the game the right way, so hope you get that 4th position, all the best!.................<ok>

Spurs meathead fan threw the Chelsea woman's flag on the track. Chants of Yiddo. Woman hits meathead with her flag. Meathead tells her to "**** off you ****". We Are Super Tottenham sings out. Three other Chelsea men get involved. All get slapped. First man is told he's getting a slap for being a "****ing Chelsea ****". A chorus of Everywhere We Go. Police step in.

It's not just a Chelsea train station problem.
