so its friday away to derby and monday home to middlesbrough both on sky do we think thats it until the last 5 games ?
Looking at the speed at which games are coming up I would have liked to bolster the defensive options a bit, but see no point in getting people in who are no better than those we have. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...or_Watford_to_make_two_more_signings_reduced/
I agree OFH - happy enough with what we have but worry that a few injuries could leave us short. I also worry a bit that his ultra attacking strategy in the last 2 matches leaves us with very few options on the bench if we need to mix things up a bit. On the one hand it's delivered dividends in the last 2 games with the added benefit of some incredible football but on the other hand I am sure there will come a time where we need fresh, fast legs and some invention and it's not there. This is in no way being critical by the way - probably me just being my usual glass half empty self!

Slavisa Jokanovic says he will use Watford defender Daniel Pudil when he believes the full-back can help the Hornets side. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11830373._When_I_believe_Pudil_can_help_us__I_ll_use_him_/
http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/150304-ben-watson-watford-fc-contract-2314172.aspx? Seems fair enough...
What I like about this comment is that it came just before Pudil was picked for the Fulham game. SJ was not going to give anything away.
Our manager is getting things right more often than getting them wrong and that is winning the fans and the players over. i had seen comments from daniel that he was very happy with the results but not so happy with not playing and he knew that he just had to keep working hard and do the job that is asked of him.. He is not the best player we have but he is a good honest pro unlike a few that has moved on .
I'm a big Pudil fan and i don't think he did a lot wrong last night other than to lack a bit of match sharpness. He was certainly better than Layun who replaced him and who contributed very little.
Seems like the comments from those who have been on the bench recently; Pudil, Forestieri, Vydra to name a few all seem to be saying that they are just putting their head down and they know they will get their chance if they keep working hard. Suggests the manager has been doing the right things behind the scenes and also seems to be backing up the promises by rewarding people when the time is right. All good promising stuff.
Agreed - and even Troy managed to make a joke out of it at Bolton. It's common sense really - being part of a promotion winning squad can only do one thing for their CVs. Still, I suppose we should be pleasantly surprised that we have players with a bit of intelligence!
