You can't have been watching the same game as I was. Livermore was outstanding tonight, not perfect of course, who is but his effort was outstanding and he also showed some real quality at times. Livermore Dawson Robertson
Huddlestone- kept midfield ticking over and defended well. Livermore- got forward at last and looked a different player as a result. Couple of errors but much more like it. Need that every week though Elmo- Created 2 excellent chances from the right and had more quality in his delivery than Robertson for me Dawson was good but was hardly stretched, and Meyler had a pretty good game- probably delivered the 2 best crosses from the left to be fair. He isn't Diame but he isn't as bad as some make out either
Dawson - Outstanding again. Absolutely dominant. Huddlestone....Back to his best. Brilliant FK for N'Doye's goal. Elmo....Just edged Robbo. Both wingers overwhelmed their defenders. Honourable mentions....Macca...another very strong defensive effort. N'Doye...what a great acquisition.
I thought Daws and Macca did a great job keeping Junior out of the game in the first half - he hardly touched the ball in the first 30 minutes - he then almost ****ed up with Rodwell although the ref said it was a dive and had the one mare in the second half when he nearly put them through but otherwise hats off to the back two 1. Elmo 2' Robertson 3. Dawson I'm sorry but Meyler is clueless - was put into some great positions then decided he needed to play the ball backwards - best one was last minute and we were piling forward for the winner - ball to Meyler who stopped and sent the ball towards our goal - ref shook his head and blew for time
Dawson Huddlestone Jelavic I thought Meyler had a decent first half, but I'd have pulled him for Quinn in the second, we were sitting back on the 1-0 too much, we needed a second.
Hard to pick individuals cos they all did well, no big errors but no one made the difference to win it either. A lot of 7/10s today. Dawson Huddlestone Robertson
