I'll put it here, but no commentary again as I won't be listening (since I've stopped our form has turned around.)

2-1 up almost half time both from Bulot. Couldn't make the game tonight sounds decent though

    That went well.

Look forward to hearing from those who were there.

Am I too late for my prediction? I'm going 2-1.

Missed tonight and just seen the score after landing in to Essex. All the sweeter I'm with a forest fan. We both actually predicted a 2-0 win for our clubs, so disappointed to hear we conceded <cheers>

Terrific result considering all the changes we made. It seems we rode our luck a bit, but all credit to Luzon for continuing to attack when defending a lead. He deserves a bit of luck for that.

Delighted with the win, thought Wilson got a lot more stick than he deserved (not saying he had a good game), Harriott was poor.
Watt at the end was superb, especially in the corner. Cousins MOTM was immense all game and he keeps like that he'll overtake JBG for my POTS

Bulot, Buyens, Watt and Cousins all get 9/10 from me, Diarra not far behind.

Luzon gets 10/10 for those half-time substitutions. Powell and Peeters wouldn't have had the conviction to do that, may be not even Riga. If he had left it unchanged, Forest would surely have got an equaliser. Is it really only a month since a bunch of moron ''fans'' were singing 'you don't know what you're doing'?

Crowd were great tonight and totally behind manager and team. The protests seems to have fizzled and I think s/t sales for next season will be up, not down as the malcontents have been predicting.

    COYR!

To be honest I think that was, Luzon with no wins in 4 or whatever, and the fans didn't like how he was picked. I don't like how Luzon was picked, and I was singing that...but I am more than happy to keep eating humble pie.

I think the half time subs were out of neccesity rather than tactics. Wilson didnt recover from Antonio trying to imprint his head into an advertising hoarding. He was constantly feeling his back after that and couldnt keep up with Antonio therefore conceding the forest goal. That the ref didnt punish that and almost turned a blind eye to a similar challenge on Diarra was tanatamount to negligence. Harriot may have injured himself on a foray forwajust before half time or may have been caught, but he was sitting down when the ref blew for half time.
That Joe Gomez could switch to the right back position and Eagles could slot in for Harriot was an obvious one that had to be made. Agree Cousins Bulot and Watt played really well tonight but generally the team with players in their natural slots worked well.
    All three were MotM material.

Bulot got the goals, and took them very well, but my MOM was Jordan Cousins. He must have covered every blade of grass on the pitch, and he has become the heartbeat of our team. It shows what a plank Bob was to keep playing him as a winger when everyone knew he wasn't one. Also a special mention for Morgan Fox, who has been much abused on another forum. He is improving with every game, and it made me laugh when he tried to do a Tony Watt at the corner flag. Sympathy for Harriott, who had a nightmare. nothing came off for him, he's never played well on the right, and his injury looked bad. This was a terrific win against a very slick Forest team considering the makeshift team Luzon had to field, IMO the best win of the season.

Not just Bob. SCP misused him as a winger too. To be fair, Guy has better playing options than our previous managers, but to be fair, Jose Riga apart, previous managers tied themselves in knots putting square pegs in round holes.
Man, I'm happy this morning though. Captain, stick with the non commentary lark. It's working!

I thought Wilson was run ragged by Antonio. Kept letting him come inside when showed that if you take him down the line he cant cross as well with his left. To be fair he did not get much help from Harriot either. Good half time subs, whether forced or not. Showed faith in Gomez too by trusting him to look after Antonio. I still think Fox is our weak link at the back. Cousins was immense. Ref bottled the sending off. Lansbury should have gone for the first incident on Diarra and then to let him off the blatant foul in the second half was awful refereeing. Thoroughly enjoyed the game though. Forest are a good side.

Yes, but I never really got what the problem was with "how he was picked". Duchatalet and Meire identified the man they thought could best do the job, had a quick glance at who else had applied and saw no compelling case to change their mind - and it looks like they made the correct call. I didn't get why the usual busy-bodies were trying to interfere. Were they saying the process was wrong or the wrong man was chosen? Or perhaps it was both? We can now see their objections on both counts were ill-informed. Anyway, you are far from the only one easting humble pie, Ted; I had to consume a slice of it when Peeters lost the plot, as I spent the early part of the season thinking he was a great appointment!

But I reckon it is better to give people the benefit of the doubt and not to write anyone off before they've had a chance.

Were you once again watching the game with your bespoke Mr Magoo specs perched on your nose?

"The crowd was great tonight" - 1,800 Forest in an attendance barely over 11,000. People are voting with their feet Incorruptible my old china - unlike you they are not taken in by a chimera.

There was no problem with how he was picked. If they thought they had the right man for the job, might as well appoint him straight away before the malaise (0-5 at Watford) deepened.

The problem was that they lied about it, saying they were going to undertake an exhaustive search for a new manager when they had already decided upon one. Throughout they have had a patronizing and insulting attitude to supporters,

Fox is our "reserve" left back. He is very slowly improving. He is now consistently a third tier level defender. That is the best we can reasonably expect. If we had two Championship level left-backs, one would soon be on his way. He is only just 21, no great age for a defender. So long as he keeps improving with experience we should support him and be glad to have him.

The problem is not with Fox, it is with Wiggins. He has only been as good as he was (before his long absence) in brief patches and has since suffered two further injuries. Is he going to prove chronically injury prone, and will he ever get back to his best? He is 27 now, so it is next season or never.

We are out of both the promotion and relegation battles so we don't have to resolve the issue this season. We can afford to keep playing Fox. If Wiggins is not back to his best by the start of next season, maybe Holmes-Dennis will be ready to step up? He is only 19 so with lots of scope for improvement. And maybe Edwards by 2016-17?

Totally agree with you. At half-time I was wanting him to make exactly those changes, but never thought it would actually happen.

I wonder with Luzon the same thing I wondered with Riga. Does he take seriously advice from someone who does know what he is doing, namely Damian Matthew, who knows well both this division and our younger players. Interesting that Matthew has now survived the reign of four managers.

If so, this is not to denigrate Luzon (or Riga). Knowing whom to trust and to whom to delegate is perhaps the most important leadership skill.

To be honest I wasn't overly impressed with Diarra especially at CB, when he came on against Huddersfield he was good though, don't think CB suits him at all, he did virtually make a goal line clearance though but you can tell he's not experienced in the position.
