Hello again lads. We can't keep calling on Raich Carter Junior for each Who are You? interview before the customary Hull win (does anyone know if he's recovered from the bad cycling injury?) But a young lad from the Hull Daily Mail, Brad Rial, has done a decent job with Salut! Sunderland's questions at http://salutsunderland.com/2015/03/...liant-brucey-enigmatic-allam-dance-icon-elmo/ I liked his Brucey response - to the questions on how he's doing and whether he could manage a 'top club' : "Steve Bruce can do little wrong in the eyes of City fans. Quite simply, he’s the most successful manager in the club’s history. No other man has won automatic promotion to the top flight as manager of City, no other man has taken City to an FA Cup final and his 16th place finish last season is the highest in the club’s history. He’s been brilliant from the moment he came in. He’s definitely a “top” manager. He’s been a success pretty much everywhere he’s been (even if it’s fallen by the wayside later on) and he deserves respect for that. I guess we’ll never know if he’s a “top club” manager until he’s given a chance."
There you go, sorted. I think it was April 2008 when I did the questions for you, came second on votes over the year and won a magazine subscription; I keep a regular eye on your site and it's quality - more than I can say about your football recently.
Think he's got it spot on apart from Bruce being a top manager. He's done a great job but he's got his limitations.
Thanks: Yes, Hull's fanbase has produced some cracking Q+As for me. Proper club and supporters. And you're quite right about our football. The red card nonsense was irrelevant at United; we were simply wretched - as we've been in most other games this season. Four wins tells it own story and I wouldn't surprised to see a fifth successive Hull victory over Poyet tonight.
He's from the HDM alright. Knew nothing about Raich Carter Jnr, his support of Hull City, his accident, him winning the Sunderland Salute's fans away contributor of the season award and him donating the prize to the young footballers of Hendon, ( his very famous fathers birthplace)
