simply because the lad he fouled should've been sent off earlier in the game!! He's right that Ireland shuoldve walked (imo) but to effectively defend what Figueroa did is disgusting. How would he feel if one of i is lot puts in a 2 footer then gets his leg broken after the ref fails to send him off? Would he think it was ok? Prick!! (PS... I know this isn't about Adam Johnsons arrest... Just thought it was something worth writing about)
Irelands challenge was far worse and deserved a red but Figueroa should have also walked for that rake. What's worrying for me is that once again the officials get it wrong. There is only one consistency this season and that is the officials are ****.
I think if Ireland does what he did to Meyler to any other players of any other club he may find himself hurt again very soon.I am not condoning it but he did seem very unpleasant and I think there is a karma culture in football.
He'll go missing now mate, they seem to just erase things like that from memory. Let's all just hope that one day, somebody goes right through Steve ****ing Bruce with both feet and halves the ****. United legend as a player, pigeon **** as a manager.
