As stated, meant for our Chazz. I've not donated because I think I'll be scraping the barrel over the next 5 weeks, we'll see in a fortnight or so if there's any more needed. I've posted it to my Facebook though, I've got a lot of anti cancer campaigner folks on there who will probably be rubbing heir hands to do their bit if/when they see it. Maybe everyone else can post to social media too. Hope all goes well, I have a young family myself, can't imagine what they're going through. I'm genuinely pleased for the sake of humanity that it has already reached £22k. How long has it been up?
Sorry, I read it differently. My apologies. I gather the page has been up about 10 days. There are a couple of fundraising events planned, and a few people are doing stuff like charity walks etc. The conncetion people have had has been really inspiring, not just for the money - important that this is - but for the morale and emotional boost so many good wishes and connections create. You can't measure that stuff.
Thanks for the comments and the donations guys - the fund is now getting close to £24k, so hopefully with a bit more of a push, we can get to the target over the weekend!
Guys, just a quick note to thank you all for your donations - it's been great to see the responses from the fans of so many clubs. As of this moment, the fund stands at a little over £28,500, which means we're within touching distance of the £30k target. You've all helped so much, I just wanted to say so. Cheers all, Chaz
Guys, just a quick note to let you know that the target was reached this morning! Nina's treatment can now start as soon as possible. The fund will remain open, as we want to make sure that she gets the best treatment, as soon as she needs it, but things are looking positive right now. Message from Ed (Nina's husband): We're so proud of everyone who has played a part in helping Nina raise over £30,000 in less than 2 weeks! Your support is keeping Nina strong and determined to kick cancer's ass, thank you! Please don't stop now! Keep sharing the love and her website to keep the funds coming in, so Nina can get the best possible treatment to make her better as quickly as possible. Adding my personal thanks - I really appreciate every single one that has helped out so far. Thanks guys... Chaz
Well done Chaz for doing your bit for Nina. Puts both our teams relegation fears into perspective doesn't it.
