Richard Barklie, 50, of Carrickfergus, County Antrim, was one of three men identified on CCTV footage by the Metropolitan Police. "I'm not a racist and I never have been a racist," he told the Sunday World. He added: "I did not take part in any racist singing." The Metropolitan Police has passed on the details of the three men to the authorities in France, who are investigating the incident before Chelsea's Champions League game against Paris St-Germain. Chelsea has suspended five fans and said it would ban them from attending Stamford Bridge for life if there was sufficient evidence of their involvement. Mr Barklie, an ex-Royal Ulster Constabulary and Police Service of Northern Ireland officer, is currently a director with a human rights organisation - the World Human Rights Forum - and has also worked supporting victims of the Troubles. He told the paper: "People behind me were pushing and he was pushed back off. He never attempted to see if there was more room in any of the other carriages. "He was pushed off simply because the carriage was full, no other reason - it had nothing to do with the colour of his skin." Mr Barklie said he would be happy to meet the man. "I would tell him I was sorry for any trauma or stress he received as a result of what happened, but I would also say, it wasn't because he was black," he added.
Sounds reasonable until you look at photographs which show there was room. Maybe these Chelsea fans were all good, decent boys who were radicalised in their quest for an identity in a hostile country where they thought they were being watched by the authorities and should be offered comfort and support on their return home?
I know you have to be a thick **** to be a racist, but why do they always think the rest of us are as gullible as them?
Racists get banned without question from other web-sites. They don't from this one. You do the maths...
They can. They can also be held responsible for posters accusing other posters of being *****philes without sufficient evidence, as can the poster who made the remark. In fact, one man simply calling another poster on a forum a 'nonce' got himself a £10000 fine and a criminal record, right here in the UK. I would guess that any forum that wishes for longevity would ban any posters throwing around such flimsy but potentially damaging accusations without second thought. Wouldn't you?

If someone is black or married to a black person can they be classed as racist if saying something that appears to be racist? Or can a white person say something that would be classed as racist if a black person said it? This is not an argument starter, just thought about it now.
