Went to Scunthorpe United on a month long loan today. Wonder how well that'll be recieved given that he plays for us and played for Grimsby. EDIT: He played the full 90 mins in the 1-1 draw with Yeovil today.
I saw this today when I clicked on their game. I was a bit shocked but it's a better level than some of our players are getting & it's what's needed too. It's a shame that the likes of Margetts & some of the other juniors aren't being tested a bit higher than Gainsborough, but I suppose it's a case of who needs what & I doubt that many clubs will be looking to us to loan from.
I think Margetts cold get into most League 2 sides, or at least Conference sides. We do have Greg Luer out on loan at Port Vale, though.
Adelakun scored for Scunny. We should look at getting him here, was excellent against our ressies the other week. Only 18.
