Yeah they should be ashamed of themselves.... I have only been commenting on Paul Lambert and what a great manager he is.
The disturbing thing is when I return to the UK in 2 weeks I will be staying in Ipswich as my father is very unwell so I will be caring for him and will need to try and find work in the hell hole that most of our Ipswich regulars admit they dispise, I started off my career in Brighton and Hove worked myself into the inner circle of the casino trade in Bayswater Tottenham court road and then the biggest in Europe Stratford but chose to get out of the evil industry.. I could better myself here in China in the most organised succesful Country on the planet but I am returning to live the life of a binner . The nearest casino is Yarmouth so I need to carve a future in Ipswich . I can't afford to think of my country cousins as anything but equal. I was born in Colchester ffs.
Honestly, I've read some **** in my time on these forums but this is the biggest heap of crap yet. Literally wrong on every level. Total wind up merchant.
Agreed 100%!! NO WAY would I have wanted TF's money - I'd rather stay in the championship than have any of his money in the Carrow Road coffers!!!
We were embarrassing and rubbish when Lambo was at Nodge. We were an awful long ball team but we have all moved on now.
I wouldn't have had a problem with Fernandes investing in us at all, not quite sure what he has done that has offended so many people. I think he generally means well, he just doesn't have a great understanding of how our game works, though I'm sure he is learning by now.
and you do not/would not have a problem with that? For me, at that time, he had already been given the cold shoulder by the West Ham board, and although the Hammers are a big city club they are more of a family club. The owners had traditionally always done what they believe is best for the club and not to line their own pockets at the expense of the club (not far removed fro our own board). If they did not like his proposal for West Ham, I would be cautious too. QPR was a different case as Bernie Ecclestone wanted rid of the club (almost at any price, as was my understanding at the time). TF just happened to come along at the right time, so a deal was done.
I just don't get why he's seen as such a bad guy. McNally certainly wouldn't have wasted his money the way they have at Koo Pee Arr
Not suggesting he is a bad guy 'per se', just another businessman looking for a new toy to play with. We have seen the result of that so far, and it is not beyond the realms of impossibility that he has actually done more harm to QPR than he has good. Much will depend on whether or not they get relegated again this season, and the outcome of the FFP rules regarding QPR's last season in the Championship.
