Anyone watch the program tonight about joy division? , Ian Curtis was my first hero in music, his voice was so different to anything I had heard before. He was literally a day away from going on a tour of America that would of probably catapulted joy division to another level. For me " love will tear us apart again" is in the top 5 songs ever, some will probably disagree, that's fine, "what we hear, is what we love" it's mad that after he commited suicide the 3 remaining members formed New order and went on to big things, their song " world in motion" was about the best World Cup song made.. They've sold over 20million records.. I wonder how big they would of got had Ian not died....
Iv recorded it going to watch it later . Has it been shown before the last documentary on joy division I watched hooky came across I right knob .
