What league form Europa League couldn't have made us any worse, in fact, it probably would have made us better giving us confidence if we'd won a few games.
I don't get a lot about FFP, but I thought the gyst if it is to safeguard clubs financially by stopping them from spending over their earnings. So in that case doesn't a crippling fine destabilise a club financially and have exactly the opposite effect? A transfer ban equivilent to the amount previously over-spent would be much fairer.
Totally agree. Man. City had something like a £60m fine didn't they and they just brushed it off, much like we will if we eventually end up paying the fine. It's a total nonsense and leaves a bad taste, because if it's not there as a deterrent what is it there as, a bonus for FIFA/EUFA/FA/FL executives?
Sky Sports News HQ @SkySportsNewsHQ 2m2 minutes ago BREAKING: Hull agree settlement of £145,000 with UEFA for breaching financial fair play rules. More on #SSNHQ
I respect your opinion, my first trip to BP was 63,and in an age where in most sports, not just football, clubs are reliant on the money pumped into the game and if your not at the top table your snout barely sniffs the trough !!, so gambling with the clubs top flight status,is,IMO a gamble not worth taking
I can't find the thread about this. Obviously I've overlooked it somewhere so moderators please merge it with the thread that already is talking about UEFA's action. Hull City have been hit with a 200,000 Euro (£145,000) fine for a breach of Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules, UEFA have confirmed. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...tory-26095545-detail/story.html#ixzz3T2kSSQWc
don't agree the whole point of being a football supporter is fantastic experiences like traveling in Europe with your club I got to do it once in Slovakia and it was one of the best weeks ever.. a magical happening which may never happen again a bit more seriousness by Bruce would have given far more poeple the opportunity to do it with 3 extra away games
