As you all know, the younger Hazard made his loan to Monchengladbach permanent for 8m Euros. Apparently we have sold him for 16 times of what we paid for him.

Reportedly we have a buy-back agreement. Hope we have something similar for KDB!

Who's next - Moses, Chalobah, Bamford?

The buy back is key here.

    Moses I couldn't care about.

Chalobah doesn't seem to be developing.

Bamford however us a little gem and I'm sure he will be playing Premier League football on loan next year. He's developed and progressed really well from MK Dons to Derby to Boro.

Sorry to see this one go, my Belgian informer is adamant he is better than his brother Eden. Guess we'll never know.

No offense CP but I'm sure the Chelsea scouts, Jose etc have more of a gift for spotting talent than your guy, if he was good enough we wouldn't have sold him. We can see how much Jose rates Hazard snr.

No offence taken, my scout is a 21 year old student who was in the Belgian youth set up with Thorgen Hazard. He didn't make the grade and is now on a working holiday in Oz and makes fantastic coffee in my local cafe ! He also said at the time we sold him, that we'd regret selling De Bruyn, and that's coming true. It looks to me as if a large part of our youth strategy is simply to make a profit by selling players on. Nothing wrong with that, but with a big turnover, mistakes will sometimes happen. Matic is the best example. Buy back clauses would seem an excellent idea !!!

Atleast to compensate for Matic blunder, we had a lottery in Luiz.
For Thorgan reports say we have a clause. That should take care.
What do we do with KDB without any of these?

    Agreed.

I think with so many young players being bought and sold it's inevitable some will come good and we'll look bad. Sturridge is arguably another one. De Bruyne is obviously a good player but we did get 17 million for him so that's to be expected.

Yep, we have so many excellent youngsters and so few places to fit them in. It is very good business to keep onside with the new FFP regs, and at the same time to have such a strong Academy. Buy back clauses would seem a no brainer, and If I can see that, then there's no doubt those at Chelsea doing the business will be miles in front of me !!
