As I said though, the derby matches are hyped up by the fans and 'locals'. It is after all just another match and when you take away any tribal mudslinging it is just as crucial Norwich V Rotherham. It is the same premise as scoring a worldy of a goal ala Ronaldo and scoring a scrappy finish from Holt, they both count for 1! Ofcourse, I would love us to win, as I would every single game, but I think the emotional element is often separate to the match and takes place in the stands. Mick's approach is methodical and keeps the squad completely level throughout the season. As my point above about everything is consistent regardless of the situation
" the reason we're not buying it is because we know full well what your reaction will be if you win! " You'd already ticked it off as a definite win in another section Rob, at least be consistent
To be honest im not going to predict a score as I just hant got a clue how its going to pan out.We will be obvious favourites but I dont get or like the confidence on some sights ive seen. Thats the thing with derbys, they are not enjoyable at all until you go a couple of goals clear the rest is nailbiting head in the lap stuff. The last derby I was really convinced we would stuff you was actually the 1-5,the rest I dont bother predicting.
oh no no no no no crowy, you must say Norwich will win. Its the rule of Rob you know! either way, what a weekend we are in store for!
I thought I'd take a look at the Binner board to see what they were saying about the match. I hadn't appreciated just what an elephant's graveyard that part of not606 is. Anyway, turns out that there are two principle topics of conversation - (1) the Derby (2) me. It was surreal to say the very least.
