Did you see Suarez last night. Anyone voting yes to the OP needs sectioning

I honestly do not believe some people. As soon as we go a good run, some fans go overboard and declare this team is better than one of the best teams we've ever had in recent times. That guy must on some hard stuff
Out team has been getting results, and the defence has improved. Against the saints we put in a solid defensive performance but we have to admit the Saints had most of the domination but were rather toothless. And we are getting results but we are hardly dominatiing teams and scoring for fun like last season.
Like people have already said, Suarez was/is a world class who would improve almost any team. His energy and eye for a goal are rare veen amongst the top players we have in the top leagues. He catalysed the team, and improved Rodgers as a manager. We almost won (and probably SHOULD HAVE won ) the title with him. It was such a wasted opportunity.
To say that this team is better than last season's is plain bonkers...Let's keep calm and realise we now have afighting chance rather a world beating team...![]()
If Suarez had stayed I think Rodgers would have kept last seasons diamond but with Moreno at LB (and Johnson at RB). But once Sturridge was injured it would have changed to 433 with Lallana coming in. With Balotelli never having signed our only others strikers would be Lambert and Borini.
Earlier this season teams learnt that if they get physical against Gerrard and Coutinho in the deep midfield areas you can take them out of the game, cutting out the strikers delivery. Gerrard has also struggled for form over all. This would have scared Lovren more than our team with Gerrard and Henderson playing deep.
A front three of Suarez, Sterling and Lallana, with out awesome delivery from Coutinho and Gerrard, does not sound like a title race team to me.
I'm not sure if this is relevant to the thread topic. Maybe I'm calling Sturridge the key player and not Suarez. I'm just rambling.
Suarez was banned for the start of the season to. With Suarez still in place we could be even lower down the league than we really are.
Do you really believe that? No, ffs. We're coping better now, but any team that loses Suarez would miss him. Especially as we didn't buy anyone to even remotely replace him!
