Squad for Dubai

Saw somewhere that Greco-Cox has dropped out of the Ireland u/21 team friendlies to go to Dubai. But cannot find the link

With Sandro and Hoillet staying at home (is this right)....looks like Greco Cox may be the next youngster to make the bench

 

Is Greco-Cox the new lad we got in January. Or is he a lad we have had for a while. Talking of squads does any one know of a link for our 25 man squad that was named in January. I really must of missed the fan fair on that

 

No that is Manley???...He has gone with the u21 squad.

No a "different" squad has gone to Dubai...so far I think I know that El Tubs and Joey and Greco-Cox have gone, Sandro and Hoillet have not

but not sure about the last fact

 

I was merely going on Queenslander's request of the squad following the January transfer window.

 

There are some pics on the offy of the boys in training. we can probably piece the squad together from them. Cannot recognise all, but see Adel, SWP, Hill, Zamora, Joey, Charlie, Krancar. Other posters who view nearer the pitch will know more.

 

CR said the trip was a good opportunity to integrate some more of the youngsters. Brilliant news.

 

Cox was already on the bench at Sunderland Betty.

I hope the buggers realise how lucky they are to have this job.

 

Glad SWP is there in case the stretch Range Rover gets a flat tyre and we need something lightweight yet thick to go under the jack.
Would want to sink in the sand, could get a bit norsty.

 

Given that we have lost Dunne and Fer, almost certainly for the season, and Sandro can't keep himself fit enough or calm enough, CR probably has no option than to bring some U21 players through, just so we can actually HAVE a 25-man squad.

Doughty's the only one named, but any U21 player can feature. Whilst it's probably working for us with players like Furlong, Doughty, and maybe Greco-Cox next - it's a situation more forced on the manager than by choice, I reckon

 

Well, these young guys have much to prove and just might snag an important goal for us from here until seasons end.
