Frank De Boer is turning down Newcastle and is waiting for a call from us or Liverpool. Wow, I'm completely confused. Pool will not dispense with BR and we'd be daft to sack Poch now.
Suarez up to his favourite old trick again?.... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-manchester-city-some-people-seem-to-think-so
In foreign football news, all Greek football has been suspended indefinitely and Fabio Cannavaro has been sentenced to 10 months in jail. The former is due to continued hooliganism, while the latter is related to tax evasion. The Italian World Cup winner is accused of entering his former villa, that had been seized by the police because of his dubious finances. The sentence also applies to his wife and brother, though all are suspended sentences and they're all appealing.
Arsenal losing at home to Monaco I chose to watch Leverkusen-Madrid instead, which has been an okay game considering it's 0-0. Leverkusen have been the better side for the most part and hit joint of the bar and post with an absolute belter from Spahic but Atletico have created the best chances despite being poor. I don't really rate Leno but he made an exceptional save just on the stroke of half-time to keep out Tiago's volley. I see Bournemouth have managed to mess up their early lead too. There goes my At.Madrid/Bournemouth double, thought I was on to a good win with that
get in there Berba, legend you can always rely on arsenal to have the end of February collapse, out of the champions league, out of the fa cup and out of the title race all in a week, brilliant oh and giroud misses an open goal it just gets better
what a block from Walcott....oooops Berba forgot how good he is, just controlled a ball with snow on it, one touch, dead Class
On Sky Sports News earlier on Berba was asked what his stand out game was. He replied 'beating Arsenal 5 - 1 when he played for Spurs'.
Goes from bad to worse for Madrid, they get an equaliser ruled out contraversially for the ball going out of play before soming back in on a corner and then Tiago goes and gets himself sent off. Leverkusen deserved a bit of luck though, they've done really well tonight.
Arsenal score, very annoying. Although one way to look at it is that you hope Monaco won't approach the next game thinking they are through already.
