First the good news.....The U21's with both Hoilett and Sandro playing won this afternoon 3-1... The bad news is that Sandro received a Red Card in the last minute and will now probably face some sort of ban........ Great eh?
dont think it would count for first team action though - otherwise team's would write off the 3 match ban in these sorts of games
Got sent off in today's under 21 match - one minute from the end for grabbing a 17 year old by the neck. Note sure if he is banned for 3 first team games? From the FA Website: http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/suspensions
You couldn't make it up. If he is not available for any length of time for the first team, he should have the arse fined off him.
We seem to be hugely vulnerable in the last five minutes of every match. If we're not being charitable to the opposing team and gifting them a goal, we're taking a red card. There's a bloke in front of me at LR always leaves five minutes before the end of the match. Now I know why. His nerves can't take it.
For ****'s sake, you couldn't make this up!! No Barton for three matches for being a twat and now, following the Arsenal and Spurs games (if I'm interpreting the rules correctly), no Sandro for three games for being a twat!! So no Barton OR Sandro for Palace away. What a shower of ****s!! (We need our friend from the Hull board for clarification on the rules)
Grabbing a 17 year old by the neck? They probably had also to report him to a child protection officer for that.
He has a point, Mr Bickle. As much as I support Ramsey's appointment, think it's right that this is re-assessed at the end of the season, understand that cash is tight after rash spending in previous transfer windows and applaud Ramsey blooding youngsters, you can't read Samuel's piece without shuddering here and there. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...e-QPR-Premier-League-drop-not-bring-kids.html
This too, of course, but I think the accusations that QPR is a club without a plan, that Fernandes is a wee bit indecisive and is all too quick to make announcements he then doesn't follow through with are not without foundation.
