I rarely make an article on here but luckily for you guys and girls today is the day. I want to dedicate this thread to Ben Arfa. Imo, he his potentially one of the best signings we have bought in the last decade and I can't wait to see him tear the league apart. Forget Robert, Solano etc, this guy if he keeps his discipline will become a cult hero. If Benny is back up to speed then I can see him running rings around the whole of the premiership and it certainly showed in his first couple of games. His ability to pick the ball up from deep or in tight areas and run at players is something which a certain Zidane would be proud of.

Having seen him dominate Ligue 1 and also put in great performances for the national side, I actually cannot wait for pre-season. I feel he has the potential to take Newcastle to another level, a bit like Van Der Vaart at Spurs. It's moment's of individual brilliance which can change a game and this guy is the man to do it. In hindsight, we do not yet know how ready he is and whether he will get to the same standard as previous but if he does... gosh I can't wait. Next season if my predictions are correct, Ben Arfa will be +20million :) FUTURE CULT HERO!!!

P.S I don't care if you don't like my article

Look how **** hot he made Benzema look with his supply. Not going so well for Benzema with club and country now the Ben Arfa supply has dried up. If we got Sow or someone similar up front they would have a field day

Only downside, we need to progress in the next 2 seasons (European football) in order for the likes of him to stay.

I don't think he'll leave if we're not in Europe next season, season after though I can.

I do get really excited about HBA from everything I've seen and read about him and hope to God it all
works out for both him and the club; he looks to be enjoying things in training and clearly believes in
the club and it's treatment of him for the recommendations he's made to his fellow French international
team mates. Just hope he's robust enough both mentally and physically as I see other clubs targeting
him with cynical fouls to stifle his creativity/threat like that arse NdJong did. :(

We're missing a trick here. We should be signing Benzema and reunite the brilliance :1980_boogie_down:

Said it before though, ease him back in. A few friendlies mean **** all. I've said this before, I'd rather he came off the bench for the first few league matches and was available for selection for most of the season rather than rush him back and see him pick up numerous injuries. Everyone seems convinced he'll be starting straight away but I'm not so sure. Gym fitness isn't match fitness.

Of course when he is fit he'll be amazing.

26 goals last season isn't exactly classed as "not going so well" imo

26 in 48 is a record abit like that of Gameiro and we were apparently looking at going after someone with a similar record, so maybe...... <whistle>

He scored in quite a lot of games on the bounce. Hit top form just before the end of January when they signed Adebayor.

I'd happily take one more Frenchman

Round the £15 million mark it would seem. Our last £15 million striker didn't do too bad did he ;)
