Such a disappointing performance, honestly thought we were going to beat Brenda and the prick squad today.

 

Not quite true. Their opener was very special.

 

The second goal has knocked the stuffing out of the players. It's scrappy stuff.

 

The opener was special, sure - but it was like a glistening diamond in a rather unimpressive turd.

 

Our attacking threat has been impotent for the last 2 months sadly.... Pelle sums it up... Firing blanks and no idea what to do about it...!
Very dissapointed at the lack of fight or leadership to try and change things on or off the pitch....

Liverpool just have the far better strikers.

 

You can point at the non-given penalties and all. But in the end, can't really say we did enough to win this game.

Gotta say hats off to Liverpool. They are a very exciting team with a lot of good English talent.

 

Ugh. Horrid game and result, but just hope heads don't drop amongst the lads as a consequence of this. Top four is still very much there for us.

 

If the ref had decided to do his job first half, this would have been very different. Oh well.

3 home games without a goal suggests the problems run deeper than just a poor ref.

true, but with a penalty and a goal after a chip over the on-rushing keeper, I suggest we'd have 2 goals.

 

Unfortunately with our current form and lack of goals it is a very, very, very long shot.

 

We're not good enough for the top four.
